Pack and Romney 'Eyelash Flapping' Style Is Designed For Holiday Wear The way you lasso a man this holiday season is by whipping your eyelashes. They'll be long enough to do just that, if you take up the new eye beauty fad. All false and inches wide, several layers of the fringe will weigh down your upper lids in deep, luxurious mystery. The heavier they are, the more difficult it is to hold up your upper lids, which adds to your intrigue. An earlier beauty forecast predicted that only "small round gray eyes would be fashionable," proved to be a dud.

There weren't enough gray-eyed girls around. Now that all eyes acceptble, throw away the dark glasses and save the giant-sized eyelash fringe for evening wear, suggests makeup man, Eddie Senz. "I don't think lashes should be as heavy and generous in the daytime. But at night under incandescent light, heavy makeup is an accepted part of dress," says Senz. You will not need to pencil your eyes, he points out.

The lashes can be trimmed and extended any way you like. "I think lashes will be worn an inch half-inch. Some approximately three of will be longer," Senz says. Put one set of lashes over another, he advises. Keep them as close to each other as sible.

Liquid rubber used as an adhesive is safe if directions are followed, he says. To remove them, stretch the lid, pick up the corner lash and whip it off. Pulling the rubberlike band from the lash strip leaves a clean set of lashes for the next evening. Skimpy lower lids can be improved by making tiny lines with an eye liner from the lid down. This takes a bit of experimentation as the size of the eye and depth has much to do with how the liner should be applied.
