The council moved to accept project 5,037 concerning the interceptors and sewage with a federal grant of 5,025 for which plans must be completed within 70 days. The council adopted a resolution commending the selection of Miss Veraele Bowman, warden at the Federal Reformatory for Women, as West Virginia's Centennial Daughter of The Year, who will be honored in a special ceremony Sept. 21.

to be held in Hinton Class Gives Party For Ethel Bartgis B3NTON (RNS) Mrs. Ethel Bartgis was honored on her birthday anniversary Friday at 7:30 by the Ladies Fellowship Class of the Bellepoint Baptist Church. The party was held at the home of Mrs. Ruby Lacy. Games and contests were held during the evening.

As customary in the remembrance of the members birthdays, each member composed an nal poem to the honoree and the prize was awarded to Mrs. Ermaj Ballengee for the best poem. After Mrs. Bartgis had openeu and displayed her gifts the women were invited into the dining room for refreshments. The table was decorated in the pink motif with a huge birthday cake hi pink and a flower arrangement of pink asters flanked by tall lighted tapers.

Moten NIMITZ (RNS) Mr. and Mrs. Minor Plumley of Pluto have announced the marriage of their niece. Miss Rosie Lea Plumley, and David Russel Moten, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Bowling visited during the week with his 98 Years Old Mrs. Elizabeth Seldomridge celebrated her 98th birthday anniversary Sunday. Mrs. Seldomridge is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Ralph McCuIlin. She was born in Frankford Sept. 15, 1865. She has lived in Greenbrier County her entire life. Mrs.
