Adele Longmire in the starring role, 'Dream Girl" will open Tuesday evening at Santa Fe's summer theater. Three mobile stge platforms will be, required for the dream sequence's of this novel play, written by Elmer Rice. Known to the theater set as "wagons," these wheeled platforms each will pre-" sent different scenes as the action progresses in "Walter Mitty" fashion.

14 (INS) A day-long search for a small plane carrying two Kansas City, residents ended late today when wreckage of the jraft and its dead occupants were found a half a mile from the Kirksville airport. The victims were George Johnson, the pilot, and Mrs. Mabel Lange, sister-in-law of Kansas City's Democratic candidate for county assessor. Both bodies were badly burned and the wreckage was toially destroyed by fire. Mrs.

Lange had chartered the plane for a flight to visit her mother, Mrs. Louella Rust, seriously ill in a Quincy, 111., hospital. The couple took off from the Grandview, airport at 1 ajn. A charge of assault with intent to murder, was filed gainst B. C. (Smoky) Babb, 26, W. L. Babb's brother.

Capt. Gully Cowsert of Junction and San Angelo and two other Texas rangers arrived here today a precautionary measure." Sheriff Clarence Hord said precautions had been taken to prevent further violence. Lajitas is in the Big Bend at the mouth of Santa Helena Canyon, on the border of Brewster and Presidio counties, Texas, and Old Mexico. The shots were fired when cars containing the Babbs and Jeffers brothers had halted near the Jef fers home at Lajitas. Justice of the peace Garnett took testimony in a hearing on the death today.

Smoky Babb testified that he and his brother drove over toward the 'Jeffers house after several shots were fired in the vicinity. The Jeffers family earlier had testified that they had done nothing of a prevocative nature, and landed at the Kirksville. for refueling at 3 ajru taking off again within a half hour. The crash apparently occurred almost immediately after resump tion of the flight. A search was begun shortly after the plane failed to appear at Quincy at its estimated arrival time a half hour later.

OSCAR BUHLER, PARISIAN pianist ar.d composer, contentedly settled himself into the tempo of life in Albuquerque to complete a book he has been writing after visiting a former pupil Byrdis Danfelser, director and founder of the Danfelser School of Music. Buhler intended to continue to California for a lecture series but sent his regrets irstead. He maintains a studio in New York in addition to his concertiztng and musical writings.
