Four New Schools Slated At least four new school buildings are expected to 'be ready for occupancy by Raleigh County students when the summer vacation ends September 5. WO of the buildings, one at Fairdale and another at Midway are already complete. The Board of Education at its meeting last week approved payment to the contractor for the two projects, provided they are certified by Walter Martens, the architect. At Fairdale a five-room building was constructed on a six-acre site while the Midway structure contains" four classrooms.

The contract for these two projects was let last summer. In addition two other new school buildings are now nearing completion. A three-room building is being erected to replace the present Princewick school. The Princewick plans also include kitchen facilities for the students. At Clear Creek a three-room place of two one-room schools used in past school terms by the i students.

The new Clear building will provide room for an increase in the student body without additional building. Superintendent of Schools D. W. Bryson said he expected a lour buildings would be ready for the school children by opening day. MARINE RECRUITERS SET AREA VISIT ITINERARY Sgt.
