The ensuing kickoff was taken by DeGraffe at his own 6-yard line. He broke several tackles and sprinted 94 yards for the score. DeGraffe's second score came after defensive tackle Dan O'-Leary recovered a BU fumble at the UConn 32.

After fullback Robin Anderson gained 59 yards on five carries, DeGraffe slipped off right tackle for a 6-yard touchdown. In other contests involving Blue Hen opponents, Connecticut edged Boston U. 23-21; William Mary nipped Citadel 14-13; Morgan State lost to Virginia Union 28-9, and Eastern Kentucky downed Tennessee Tech 28-21. In another game involving a Delaware foe, Middle Tennessee defeated Western Kentucky 21-19.

In the final game involving a Blue Hen opponent, West Chester scored a 28-14 triumph over Chey-ney last night. Relph, a senior quarterback got the Red Raiders going by running 29 yards for Colgate's first touchdown. Relph hit split end Dick Slenker with scoring passes of five and 17 yards and passed to Mike Getman for touchdowns on five and 16 yard plays. Dave Detone carried the ball only three times but ran for 89 yards, including a 66-yard touchdown run for Colgate. Bruce Maverty capped the Colgate scoring by running back a punt 75 yards in the fourth quarter.

Relph ended the game with 13 completions in 19 attempts for 181 yards and one interception. Relph also ran for 55 yards as Colgate amassed 623 yards in total offense to Bucknell's39fi yards. Slenker caught nine of Relph's passes for 143 yards. Bucknell's scores came on an early 23-yard field goal by James Lake, which gave the Bisons, now 3-5, a brief 3-0 lead. Quarterback Glyn Lipp hit Brian Shaffer with a 15-yard scoring pass.

Lipp scored on a four-yard. touchdown run and hit Shaffer for a two-point conversion. Lipp completed 15 of 24 passes for 194 yards. Pat Healy ran for 86 yards and Henry White, of Cape Henlopen High, who entered the game as the Grambling wins 65-0. GRAMBLING, La.

Renee DuFlon has seven kills for the Blue Hens and teammate Debbie Toner had the best serving average. Delaware, which dropped only one of 13 matches in the tourney and raised its season record to 36-6, received a bye to the semis after it breezed through its pool with a 4-0 record. The Hens only match loss 7-15, was to East Stroudsburg. Delaware went on to win the match against East Stroudsburg 15-8, 15-11 and also beat the Warriors in the semis 15-12, 15-9. Sowter had 15 kills in the semis and teammate Grace Griffith had six.

DuFlon had strong serving. The tournament victories have given coach Barb Viera hopes that the Hens will be seeded high for the regional tournament today when the selection committee meets in Spring Valley, N.J. The regional will be held at the State University College of Oswego, N.Y., Nov. 1819th. A- 3.66J behind Texas and Texas Arkansas plays next Saturday in College Station, Texas.

Murray hit his second field goal of the game after Tulane, now 3-6, put together a 66-yard scoring drive in the final minutes of a tied game. Miami is now 3-5. Tulane quarterback Roch Hontas, who leads the nation's college passers in completion percentage, keyed the drive with passing plays of 27 yards to Reggie Scott and 15 yards to Alton Alexis. The drive penetrated to Miami's 2 before Murray hit his winning kick. The sophomore quarterback, who became a starter four games ago when Gifford Nielsen was injured, broke the NCAA mark of 4til yards set by Tony Adams of Utah State in 1972.
