M. Marcellus of Rand. R.V. Clay Dies; Rites Saturday MINDEN (RNS) Robert Virgil Clay, 22, died in a Morgantown hospital Wednesday at 3:15 p.m. He was injured in an accident at the Cherry River Coal Coke Co.

Belva Marie Ceney of South Charleston and three half brothers. The funeral will be held in the Kincaid Church of God at Kincaid at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Lillian Childers and the Rev. Ernest Barley in charge.

Burial will be in High Lawn Memorial Park. The body will be taken to the home from Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill at 4 p.m. today and will be placed in the church one hour prior to the funeral. today in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with the Rev. William Withers in charge. The child died at 7:30 a. m. Thursday in a Beckley hospital.

Also surviving are his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Avery Huffman, Mount Hope and Mr. and Mrs. Warren Janey, Columbus.

The body is at the Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope. Mercer Man, 69, Dies In Hospital GLENWOOD PARK (RNS) -Gordon T. Neal, 6D, of Glenwood Park died Wednesday in a Beckley hospital. He was born Jan. 16, 1895, in Tazewell County.

He was a construction foreman and a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his wife, Lida Bowling Neal; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Shyan of Phoenix, two brothers, William of Athens and James Neal of Atlanta, and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Thornason of Bluewell. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m.

On Monday, Miss Carol Kess ler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Ralph L. Kessler, was accom panied to Glenville State Co lege by her sister, Miss Bett Kessler and her father. Mis Kessler is a 1964 graduate Nuttall High School and has re ceived a scholarship from th West Virginia Board of Education. She will study in the field of elementary education.

surveys are to determine the high water profile in the March, 1963 flood. Also assisting with the surveys is Gene Lawhun, a civil engineer with the same group. The existing -e Being Taken In Fayette County channel of Paint Creek will be cross sectioned at various points and the stream bed profile will be determined from the confluence of Boyd's Branch and Paint Creek to a point downstream to the Laurel Grove Baptist Church at Lively. The Corps of Engineers also will appraise the flood damage estimated which were furnished by the Paint Creek Development Committee.
