Beecher Goins, president, pre-; sided at the meeting in which 80 per cent of the families were represented. The program for the evening consisted of the business session! and a movie.

During the business discussion the parents showed deep concern over the bell which had been taken from the school and decided a committee should investi-! gate its disappearance. John Williams, of Pax officiating. Burial will follow in the Marsteller Cemetery.

PAINTER NEW HEAD OF VFW AUXILIARY: been made for a vacation church school leadership education course for the Hopewell Baptist Association.

Miss Grace Turley, of parkersburg, director of children's activities of the West Virginia Baptist Convention, will teach the course at Newton Memorial Baptist Church in Charmco. The date for the course has been set for April 4, 5 6 from 1:30 to 3:30 p. m. The theme of the school is to be 'The Church" the purpose is to train children's workers in the local churches. Miss Turley plans to use a number of teaching films and to actually teach a group of children for demonstration purposes.

Each church in the Hopewell sociation is urged to send at four workers to the schools. Textbooks will be available upon enrollment on April 4.
