FRIDAY MORNING, MARCH 23, 1951 SEVEN A and Circulation Offices, Phone Oak Hill 90 ZACK NICHOLAS DEATH OAK HILL, March Funeral services Zack Nicholas, 73, of Oak Hill will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pack's Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. John Williams, of Pax officiating. Burial will follow in the Marsteller Cemetery.

Nicholas died at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday at his home after an illners of five years. He was born in Yorkshire, England, Oct. 10. 1878.

Surviving are three sisters, Including Mrs. Bob Farrell, of Pratt; brother, John Nicholas, at Yorkshire; and the following children: Mrs. Clarence Dillon, Lpckgelly; Alfred Nicholas, Oak John Nicholas, Fayetteville; Mrs. Price Williams, Mrs. BilJ Webb, Fayetteville; Clarence Nicholas, Lochgelly; Mrs.

James Adkins, Sandstone; and Mrs. Michael Lmkswiler, Oak Hill; 19 grandchildren, and two great- grandchildren. The body will remain at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, until an hour prior to the funeral service. FIVE POSTS TO REMAIN OPEN FAYETTE FOR LABOR REGISTRATION OAK HILL, March 22--Declaring "We're working all the way" withe the Beckley Chamber of Commerce in attempting to secure the location of defense plai-ts in the area, the Oak Hill Chamber has prolonged the labor registration program at five county points. Registration will be continued through this week for those unable to sign as possible plant workers last Saturday.

Mt. Hope City Hall; Montgomery City Hall: E. H. Garten Store, Meadow Bridge; Anstead City Hall, and the employment office at Oak Hill. Incomplete returns from 12 of the 39 registration points in the county on Saturday total 875.

These include: 250 at Oak Hill, including high, school seniors who will be available for employment; 50, Montgomery; 85, Mt. Hope; 20, Kingston; 19, Kimberly; 35, Hilltop, 61, Lookout; 252, Meadow Bridge; 33, Gauley Bridge; 32, Boomer; 26, at Milburn; and 12 at Ingrahm Branch. J.

Thrift, of the Circuit Court. In addition, Mrs. Bertha Cecelia Berry of Summerlee, and Mrs. Adelina Lancianese of Mt. Hope, filed their petitions for citizenship, and will be heard on their request for admittance at a later date.
