Mr. 'and Mrs. Burns Osborne have'returned horrre after visiting their son and daughter-in-law. Mr. and Mrs.

Robert Osborne of Norfolk, Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Kincaid left Wednesday for their farm in Hardy County, where they will spend the holidays.

They will visit his father, 0. A. Kincaid. who resides on the farm, and Mr. and Mrs.

Homer Hager of Needmore. Nicholas Woman Succumbs At II BRUCE GROVE, Nov. 27 (RNS) Bertha Belle Pitsenbarger, 77, of Bruce Grove died at the home of a daughter. Mrs. Bertha at Mount Nebo this morning after a long illness.

Born Nov. 22, 1881, near Quinwood. she was a daughter of the late Johnny and Priscilla Nutter Burdette. Other survivors include onp son. Cordis of Nallen; one sister.

Mrs. Florence Murphy of Nallen; one brother, Elmer Burdette of Quinwood: four grandchildren; and one great grandchild. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church at Runa with the Rev, Wesley Pennington in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

U)o8 Mercer County Nicholas County Rainelle Area 272 Area People Enroll For Extension Classes ATHENS, Nov. 27 A total of 272 persons enrolled in Concord College Extenson Class Services for the 1358-59 fall semester, according to David Kirby, dean.

Kirby, in a report 'submitted to the State Board of Education, listed 48 of the students in extension as members of the Georgrafphy 302 Georgraphy" class being conducted over Bluefield Television, WHIS TV, Channel six. Instructor for the class is R. T. Hill, associate professor, division of social science. The class is taught for three hours credit.

Thirteen students are registered in Biology 406, "Introduction to Evolution" being in Anawalt. The class, presented for three semester hours credit, is instructed by H. A. Wells, professor, department of biology. Enrolled for Education 301 "Psychology of Human Adjustment" are 17 persons.

The class is taught in Beckley for three semester hours credit by Ralph Cunningham, associate professor, department of education. Russell Fait, assistant professor, department of music, is teaching Music 306, "Music for Children" in Beckley for three semester hour's credit. Eight persons a r- registered for the class. Business 209, "Business Correspondence," is being taught to 13 persons in Bluefield by C. D.

Ashworth, associate professor, division of business. The class is being conducted for three semester hours credit. Fourteen students in the Bluefield area are enrolled for "Secretarial Accounting." Instructor for the class is' Margaret W. Edmunds, instructor, division of business. Dr.

P. C. Bibbee. professor, department of biology, is teaching Biology 320, "Conservation of Biological Resources," to. 21 persons in" Hinton.

Three semester hours credit is given for the course. Nineteen students are registered for History 307, "West Virginia History, Government, and Geogra- ny." being instructed in laeger. T. Hatfield, instructor, division social science, is teaching the ass for three hours credit. A second class being taught in aeger is English 207, "Study and jppreciatica of English Literate." 22 persons attending. Mrs. Eddie Flint, president, presided. A cash award for securing the most PTA members went to the fourth and fifth graders of Miss Anna Lee Williams' room. A Christmas program will be presented by the pupils Dec.

16, at 7 p.m. it was announced. A skating party has been arranged for students at 10 a.m. Saturday at Short's Skating Admission will be 15 cents for each-pupil and PTA members will ohaperone. The school kitchen 'Js being moved from the second floor to the first floor.

27 Miss Eleanor Sue Kody, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Willis Kody of Mount Hope, has been named as a Concord College representative to Who's Who Among Students i American Universities and Colleges. The selection of Miss Kody was made the Concord College Student Activities Committee. A 1956 graduate of Mount Hope i School, she is a junior education major with fields in English and Art.

Miss Kody is vice president of the Concord College local Panhel- lenic Council and holds membership in Sigma Sigma Sigma National Social Sorority. Newman Club, Art Club, Kappa Delta Pi, and Cardinal Key. Membership in Who's Who is limited to persons earning a 3.0 or better academic average, and Who has.completed a minimum of 80 semester hours. In selection of candidates for the national honorary, the Student Activities Committee used a point system taken from three categories--scholarship, leadership, and extra-curricular activities. Martin KESSLERS CROSS LANES, Nov. 27 (RNS) -7 TheLma Richardson Martin, 47, of Georgetown, Texas died late Wednesday- in an Army Hospital at San Antonio, Texas. Death was attributed to cancer and followed a long illness. She was a member of the Zoar Baptist Church and was graduated from "Nicholas County High School and West Virginia University. The deceased formerly lived at Maben, Barbouvsville, and Huntington.

where her husband served as pastor, She taught in Nicholas County High School and in schools in Jaoan and Germany, while her husband was serving as a chaplain in the Armed Forces. She also taught in Texas until retiring recently due to ill health. Survivors include her husband Major Owen Martin; three sons, Carmen of Ames. Iowa, Robert Keith and Billy, both home; two daughters. Donna Jean and Christiana, both at home; her parents, Mr.

and Mrs. L. A. Richardson of Kesslers Cross Lanes; a brother. Robert, of Ripley; and three sisters.

Mrs. Wilbur Herold of Persinger, Mrs. Wade Dorvohue of Philadelphia, and Mrs. Harry Weddington of Louisville, Ky. The funeral will be conducted Monday in San Antonio, Texas.

A group of council members forming a traveling committee recently returned to the campus following a tour of Marietta College, Marietta, Ohio, and Ohio University. BUSTER 129 Persons Give Blood At East Rainelle Visit EAST RAINELLE, Nov.

27 (RNS) A blood mobile unit from the Roanoke Blood Center, collected 129 pints of blood Tuesday on a visit to East Rainelle to be credited to the Greenbrier County Red Cross Chapter. Sixteen would-be donors were rejected. The project was sponsored in the area by the Community Improvement Council. Darrell Campbell, president of the council, has expressed his appreciation to all individuals and organizations in western Greenbrier County for making the visit a success. Those donors reaching "Gallon Or More Club" Tuesday included Charles Carneli of Marfrance, (two-gallon): Charles Egnor of East Rainelle and E.
