Warrants Are Issued For Fayette Countian FAYETTEVILLE (RNS) -Fayetteville Police Chief T. Hunsaker said that warrants were signed Tuesday morning by Magistrate Dillard anc John L. Witt Fayetteville mayor, charging Charles Conley about 24 of Fayetteville with reckless driving in Fayette ville i limits and on the state highway and failur to stop when properly signalec by a police officer. Possibly other charges will be filed when Conley is apprehended, Hunsaker said. According to a Patrolman Eugene McClung who was on duty Monday even ing proceeded to chase Conley who was driving a 1962 car speeding through north on U.

Fayetteville. S. 21 After failure to stop him at Oakridge Addition, Hunsaker a i McClung preceded the chase over Gauley Mountain to Gauley Bridge where Conley turned on to W. Va. 39 toward Clay.

Clara Shannon, 55, Dies; Rites Planned HINTON (RNS) Funeral services for Mrs.

Clara Shannon, 55, of Leather-wood Road will be at 2 p.m. today in the Little Bluestone Primitive Baptist Church at Jumping Branch with Elder David Lilly and Elder George Justice in charge. Burial will be Neely Cemetery on Surveyor's Branch. Mrs. Shannon died Monday in a Hinton hospital.

The body is at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton and will be placed in the church one hour prior to the funeral. N. C. Holcomb, S3, Dies Of Injuries ANSTED (RNS) Norvel Clinton Holcomb, 53, of Anstec died Tuesday in a Beckley hospital from injuries receivec in a fall at his home Apri 15. He was a lifelong resident Ansted and was a member o. the Lovers, Leap Baptist Church No.

113. Holcomb was a retiree employe of Union Carbide a Alloy. Born at Romont, July 13,1919 he was a son of the late Raleigh and Nina Holcomb. Survivors include his wife Nannie Opal Holcomb; three daughters, Mrs. Rita Louise Chapman of Ansted, Mrs.

Mar Jane Skaggs of Victor and Mrs Marjorie Rogers of Berwyn Heights, a son, Norvel Franklin of Ansted; two sisters Mrs. Zela Skaggs of Ansted and Mrs. Beulah McGuire Fayetteville; four brothers Herman of Ansted, Otho of Victor, Elvie of Cleveland, Ohio and Ralph of Virginia Beach and nine grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m Friday at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Ansted with Rev. Don Naylor in charge.

Burial will be in Rest-Lawn Memory Gardens at Ansted. Hayden Lodge members wil conduct graveside rites. 12, 1896, at Packs Branch, he was a son of the late Peter Celous and Mary Mateldia Cruse Hodge. He was a retired operator for Union Carbide Metals Corp. at Alloy, was a member of Fayetteville Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War I. Charles Hunter of Route 3, Jackson, Ohio, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Patti, to James R. Armstrong son of Mr. and Mrs. James Armstrong of 201 Oak Jackson, Ohio. Miss Hunter is a senior at Jackson High School.

Robert Williams Dies In Hospital NIMITZ (RNS) Robert Williams, 77, died at 9:40 p.m Monday in a Hinton hospital Death was attributed to cerebral hemorrhage. Born June 22, 1895, in Sum mers County, he was a son the late Allen and Margare Epperly Williams. He was a lifelong resident Nimitz and was a retired ai brake inspector for i Chesapeake and Ohio Co. Williams was a member the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen of America. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Bluestone Baptist Church a Jumping Branch.

Survivors include five sons Hubert and William, both o. Nimitz, James and Jack, both of Beech Run, and Robert Burtons ville, a daughter Mrs. Marie Reed of Hinton; a Fred Willian of Beech Run; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. His wife, Mary Via Williams, died in 1972. The funeral will be at 2 p.m.

Thursday in the Bluestone Baptist Church at Jumping Branch with Rev. William Fox, Rev. Carl Edwards and Rev. I. E.

Hatcher in charge. Burial will be in Restwood Memorial Gardens. The body will remain at Ronald Meadows al 3 arlors in Hinton where friends may call after 3 p.m. today. R.

S. Hayes, 73, Dies In Hospital GAULEY BRIDGE (RNS) Raymond S. Hayes, 73, of Gauley Bridge died Tuesday in a Montgomery hospital. Death was attributed to natural causes. He was a retired shift supervisor of the traffic department at Alloy, was a deacon and was a member of Gauley Bridge Baptist Churfch, 50-year member of Gauley Bridge Masonic Lodge and was past president of Fayette County Board of Education.

Born at Clendenin, June 27, 1899, he was a son of the late Phillip S. and Lucy Conally Hayes. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Irene Legg Hayes; one daughter, Mrs. Helen H.

Steahly" of Zanesville, Ohio; one brother, Upton McMichen of Gauley. Bridge; two sisters, Mrs. Rosalee Hall of Gauley Bridge and Mrs. Goldie Harvey of Hmapton, and grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m.

Thursday at Gauley Bridge Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Ashbrook and Rev. Lloyd Dob- benstek in charge. Burial will be in Montgomery Memorial Park at London. Masonic Lodge members will conduct graveside rites.

Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today at Combs Funeral Home in Gauley Bridge and the body will be taken to the church one hour prior to services. MINDEN (RNS) Mrs. Mary Esther Kelley, 82, of Minden died in a Beckley hospital Tuesday evening after a long illness. She was a "member of Minden Baptist Church.

Born in Boone County, July 25, 1890, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Frances Carr Survivors include her husband, Alfred Marian Kelley; four sons, John S. of Denver, Carmel S. of Minden, Keith D. Montgomery, and William G. of Corpus Christi, one sister, Mrs.
