Ralph Hannah of Matheny, was named "MYF'er of the Month" at the Matheny Methodist Church. The selection was made Sunday by a point system. Sponsors of the group said those named as "MYF'er" qualify by the number of points earned in various church activities during the preceding month. Young Hannah serves as president of the Matheny Methodist MYF, president of the Wyoming Wesleyan Sub-District MYF, vice president of the Beckley District MYF, and is assistant Sunday school teacher for the youth class. He is a senior at Oceana High School and is active in the Inter- Act Club, Varsity "0" Club, Coed Hi-Y, Pep Club, Spanish Club, Thespian Troupe, Dramatics Club, and a member of the varsity basketball team.

He is now participating on the OHS varsity track team and has the lead in an Easter play, "The Seamless Robe," being presented by the OHS Dramatics Club and Thespian Troupe. Leivasy Briefs LEIVASY (RNS) Mrs. Lucy Amick and her niece, Mrs. Ruth Rardin, are spending several days in Beckley as the guest of their sister-in-law and aunt Mrs. Effie White at the Arlington Hotel.

They will visit Mrs. Amick's husband, Albert, who is hospitalized. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Odell of Charleston visited his sister, Mrs.

Josie Murphy and her husband, Oliver, here Sunday. Also visiting the Murphys was their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ann Murphy of Nettie. Mr. and Mrs.

Bucky Lester of Odelltown Road shopned in Oak Hill Saturday. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Rozzel Udeli of Green Valley over the weekend were -their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs.

Jessie Tincher and children, Dianne and Gregory, of Chicago 111., and their son and daughter in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Rozzel Junior Odell and three children of Virginia. Mr. and Mrs.

Aldean Odell of Nettie visited their son, Michael in a Ronceverte hospital Sunday. Odell was hospitalized after a truck accident early Satur day morning near Quinwood. Mrs. Lyda Pauley and sons William and Patric, and her sister, Miss Margaret Seabolt of St. Albans, visited their family here last weekend.

Also visiting were their brothers, Tommie and Nelson Seabolt of Hampton, Va. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Odell of Quinwood who returned from their winter home in Florida recently have beta visiting relatives here. Mr.

Ralph Davis of Pittsburgh, Pa. Mrs. Ocie Elswick remains seriously ill at her home here. Her sister, Mrs. Ethel Hostetler of Philippi visited her this weekend.

Also visiting was a grandson, William Elswick of Washington, D. who was a weekend guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Elswick. Mrs.

Melissia Odell of "Richwood has returned to her home from the Sacred Heart Hospital. Visiting her this week was her daughter. Mrs. Nita Rample- wick of Lexington. Ky.

Miss Dawna Odcll was one of the 23 Future Homemakers of America members from Richwood High School io attend the southern regional meeting at Concord College Saturday. Trains For Agent Larry Kuhl of Elkins arrived in Greenbrier County Monday and is 'training as 4-H agent. Kuhl is a graduate of West Virginia University and is a member of the West Virginia Highlanders bagpipe Band of Elkins and will be playing at the Cherry Blossom Festival this weekend. He was 4-H member for eight years, a 4-H pin wearer and attended the National Vegetable Judging contest held in Washington, D. C.

After three weeks training in Greenbrier County he will spend one week at Jacksons Mill and the state office in Morgantown and then will take a position as 4-H agent in Pocahontas County. W.F.Landacre's Rites Completed RICHWOOD (RNS) Wardney Francis Landacre, 50, of Green Valley, died Monday at the home of his parents, Mr and Mrs. Russell Landacre of Richwood. He was a school bus driver for the Nicholas Board of Education. He was a World War ill veteran and a member of the Carl Baptist Church.

Also surviving: wife, Elna- son, Wardney Duane Landacre of Santa Monica, foster daughter, Beverly Kay Roberts Hazel Estep of Wyandotte, two grandchildren. The funeral will be held today at 1 p.m. in the Carl Baptist Church by the Revs. Donald Fields and Daniel Dorsey. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The body is at Colman Funeral Home here and will be taken to the church today at 11 a.m. Church Women of Circle No. 2 of the Woman's Society of Christian Service Hinton, Methodist Church met Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. George Siehl P.
