M. Easley, of Paso Hobles, has been a guest lor several days in the Glen White Road home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. V.

Gunter. She was joined last week by her husband's parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. Easley, of Portsmouth, Va.

Following a week's visit with she will join her husband, who is in Officer's Training School in Georgia. Mr. and Mrs. Huffman and of Beaver, spent a few days last week with their son, Cpl. Samuel E.

P. Huffman, who is a signal corp instructor at Ft. Monmouth, N. J. They also visited the Empire State Building and other scenic points in New York City, whJe away.

Cpl. Huffman spent three years overseas with the First Cavalry Division, 13 mouths of this time being spent in Korea. Weekend guests the West St. home of Mrs Etta King were Mr. and Mrs.

Howard O'Bryan and daughter, Mrs. T. W. Poole, of Va. Mrs Vergil Clark, of Raleigh, is a patient in the Hospital in Charleston, where she underwent or surgery Thursday.
