Linda Dumuhosky Engaged To Wed Mr. and Mrs. Peter P. Du- muhosky of Wes.t Main Street, LeRoy, N. have announced the engagement of their daughter, Linda Jean, to Douglas M.

Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Thompson of Danese.

Miss Dumuhosky was graduated from Notre Dame High School, in Batavia, N. Y. 3 in 1963 and is living in Arlington, Va. She is an employe of the Federal Government in Washington, D. C.

Thompson is a 1960 graduate of Meadow Bridge High School. He served three years with the Army in Alaska prior to becoming a civilian employe of the Federal Government in Washington. MONDAY MORNING, FEBRUARY 8,1965 County Project Chosen By Brenton flub BRENTQN (RNS) The Brenton "Hillbillies" Junior 4-H Club met at the Brenton Elementary School Friday evening, The coming events for Wyoming County 4-H members were discussed.

For their community project, it was decided to raise money toward a donation for ie purpose of helping complete the Brenton School gymnasium. At their next meeting, they will have a project review. One new member was taken into the club. Games were played and refreshments served to Mrs. Freddy Forren, leader, Vicki Mabe, Sandra Forren, Velma Hatfield, Connie Cook, Larry Day, Anna Mae Lester, Sharon Newcomb, Jimmy Roberts, Brenda and Sue Newsome, Francis McLaughlin, Linda Forren and Brenda Cook.

The regular meetings are held the first Friday in each month at the Brenton Grade School. Farewell Party Is Held For Mrs. T. A. Salvati BAILEYSVILLE (RNS) --The home of Mrs.

Willard Graham of Wyoming was the scene for a farewell party in honor of Mrs. T. A. Salvati of Marianna Thursday evening. The Salvatis are moving to Richwood where he has accepted employment.

He formerly was employed as district manager for Island Greek Coal Company. Members of the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the Wyoming Community Methodist Church served as hostesses. They were Mrs. E. R.

Saturday in the Andrew S. Rowan Memorial Home after a long illness. She had lived with a nephew, Marshall Honaker of Union, for several years before going to Sweet Springs. Born June 4, 1879, in Allegheny County. she was a daughter of the late Jolm and Sophia Beckner Ragland.

She was a member of the Sweet Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 1 P. m. Tuesday in the Broyles Funeral Home Chapel at Union with the Rev.

Daughter of the late Newton and Nancy Neil Fitzwater Pierson, she was born in Nicholas! County, Nov.

17,1885. She was a member of the Zoar Baptist Church at Kess- lers Cross Lanes. Survivors include a Mrs. Helen Agnes Taylor of Vaughn; five stepdaughters, Mrs. Ethel Skaggs of Victor, Mrs.

Ruth Hypes of Gilboa. Mrs. Rachel Dempsey of Amherst Ohio, Mrs. Virginia Hanshew of Poe and Mrs. Rose Neal of Lockwood; three stepsons, Joseph of Fayetteville and Edward and Paul, both of Kesslers Cross Lanes; a half brother, Maynard Pierson of Summersville; four half sisters, Mrs.

Later this spring, the State Homemaker of Tomorrow, together with a school advisor, will join first-place winners and advisors from each of the 50 I other states and the District of Columbia in a tour of Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, Washington, D. and New York City. Johnson to tighten the Federal controls on the importation of foreign residual oils into the United States. Parties Planned By Hairdressers PRINCETON (RNS)-Mercer Affiliate No. 8, National Hairdresser and Cosemetologist Association met Wednesday night at the Mercer County'Health Center. Melva Anderson, who went as delegate to the state meeting held recently in Wheeling, gave highlights of the session. It was also announced that a West Virginia hair fashion festival will be held March 13-15 at the Daniel Boone Hotel in Charleston and that Styles Addison will be the guest artist. Final plans were discussed for thi benefit bridge parties to be held at the Princeton and Bluefield Elks lodges.

The party in Princeton is scheduled for February 15 at 7:30 p. m. and at Bluefield Feb. 16 at that hour. Proceeds from the two events will be given to the Mental Health Association.

Born in Wyoming County, March 3, 1905, he was the son of Jack and Alary Polk Lafferty of Ravencliff.

He was a former employe of the Bellmeade Coal Co. at "Glen Morrison. Other survivors include his wife, Margaret; three sons, Ross, Roy and Tressie, all of Glen Rogers; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Blankenship, Mrs. Beulah Farley and Miss Lessie Lafferty, all of Glen Rogers; four brothers, Robert of Glen Fork, Basil and Fred, both of Ravencliff, and Anthony of Glen Rogers; three sisters, Mrs.
