C. The Rev. Robert Naylor officiated at the double ring ceremony, Parents of the couple' are Mrs. Violet R. Garretson of Gamerco and Mr.

and Mrs. Roy Hoobler of Harrison, Ark. Loren E. Garretson, twin brother of the bride, gave her in marriage. The bride wore a dress of pink silk in tea length cut on princess lines with a narrow bow accenting the neckline.

She wore a matching hat and a corsage of roses. Matron of honor and best man were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Light. The bride has been employed here with the Telephone Co.

Mr. Hoobler is stationed with the Army at Ft. Bragg. MRS. CLARK IN CHARGE The Women of the Moose will hold an initiation meeting Wednesday at 8 p.m.

in the Moose Hall, 2301 Fourth St. NW. The Child Care committee will be in charge of the program under the direction of Mrs. Dorothy Clark. Jo Farrer was her hostess at a luncheon and theater party.

Mr. and Mrs. Kemp entertained for their daughter at a dinner party for nine in their home, and with a day's excursion in Santa Fe climaxed by luncheon at the Pink Adobe. (Goehring photo) Chapel Rites Unite Couple Miss Evelyn Alberta Hight, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John George Hight, 700 Fitzgerald Rd. NW, became the bride of Richard Hivling Stokes of Los Alamos Friday afternoon in the chapel of the First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Jack Prichard officiating.

Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. George Hivling Stokes of Troy, N. Y. Mrs.

Bennett Foster was organist for the ceremony. White gladioli decorated the altar for the candlelight ceremony. Given in marriage by 'her father, the bride wore a waltz length gown of light ivory shoulder length veil. Gardenias and white feathered carnations formed her crescent cascade bouquet. Mrs.

John D. Robb sister of the bride, was matron of honor wearing an aqua and gold brocade sheath. The bride's other attendant was Mrs. George Hight of Gallup, dressed in a champagne colored dress. Both carried bronze fugi mums.

Robert Leachman was best man, and John D. Robb Jr. was the usher. The bride's parents' home was the scene of the wedding reception, where Christmas greens, gold white chrysanthemums gladioli were and used in the decorations. Assisting were Mrs.

Lucile Harmon and Miss Jana Haley, both of Los Alamos. Attending from out of town, in addition to the bridegroom's parents, were Dr. and Mrs. Waight, LaJolla, Mr. and Mrs.

George Hight and Hight of Gallup and E. B. Colton, Pasadena, Cal. After a wedding trip to Phoenix, the couple will be at home in Los Alamos. For traveling, the bride wore beige wool suit with brown accessories.

(Staff photo) ENMU Group To Give Concert Journal Special PORTALES Voices of the Men's Glee club and the Women's Glee club of Eastern New Mexico University will be combined for the first time Sunday afternoon when the School of Music presents the 50 students (in a concert. The music students will perform under the direction of David W. Scott, assistant professor in music. Valentine Sweeney of Santa Fe, graduate assistant in music, will be accompanist.

(Rachelle-Rembrandt photo), Mrs. Glen Edward Witt To Make Home in England Double ring wedding vows were read recently in the Fruit Avenue Baptist Church for Miss Margaret Jean Weaver and Glen Edward Witt. The Rev. Clarence Buie officiated at the wedding of the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Herman Weaver, 5421 Granite NE, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Blair, 219 Granite NE.

Organist was Jack Foster, accompanying vocalists Mrs. W. C. Bass Jr. and Don Forrester.

The bride's father gave her in marriage. She wore a floor length gown of imported lace featuring an illusion neckline with mandarin collar Her full illusion veil was held by a tiny cap studded with miniature seed pearls. Miss Lorretta Wilkinson was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were the Misses Wanda Cooke and Jacqui Duncan. Terry Griffith was best man, and Leonard and Jerry Witt, brothers of the bridegroom, ushered. A reception was held at the church following the ceremony.

Assisting were the Mmes. Dan Eitzen, Lester Eikhoff, Kenneth Hill and Hill. Attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. E.

E. Weaver and Mrs. H. E. Vanzant, Tucumcari; Mrs.

W. C. Bass Pampa, and Mr. and Mrs. Benny Cooper of Oklahoma City.

The bride is a sen.at at Val. ley High School. The is member of the student council, secretary of FHA, and a member of Tri-Hi-Y. Mr. Witt is a graduate of Albuquerque High School, and is in the Air Force.

Mrs. Witt will reside with her parents until June, when she will join her husband at his station in England. She is employed by Kistler-Collister. Mr. and Mrs.

Ross Choose Daughter's Name Mrs. Dean Allison Rucker (Bill Bell photo) Miss Eleanor Ann Brown, Dean Rucker Are Married Miss Eleanor Ann Brown became the bride of Dean Allison Rucker Friday evening in Grace Church with the Rev. Walter E. Nelson officiating. United in the double ring, candlelight ceremony were the daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Theodore R. Brown, 1602 Sigma Chi Rd. NE, and the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Henry Byron Rucker of Lapeer, Mich. Mrs. Ralph Marshall accompained vocalist Miss Jean Reynolds at the organ. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown with bodice of Chantilly lace and bouffant tulle skirt over slipper satin. Her veil of French silk illusion was held by a Chantilly lace pillbox trimmed with seed pearls.

The bridal bouquet was a white orchid and stephanotis mounted on a Bible. Wearing azure blue velveteen and carrying a nosegay of blue carnations set in white net was Miss Marilyn Kohlhaas, maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the Misses Sandra Molin, Amelia, Janice Miller, Allegan, and Dalee Delaney, Hitchcock, Tex. Zolin Burson was best man, and James Brown, David Rucker and John McNally ushered. The flower girl was Miss Karen Rucker of Lapeer, Mich.

Mrs. Brown wore for her daughter's wedding delphinium blue peau de soie sheath, and Mrs. Rucker wore a dress of navy shantung Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Pitt Ross, 439 Dartmouth Dr.

NE, have chosen the name Georgianne Franklin Ross for their daughter, born Dec. 18, in Presbyterian Hospital. They are also the a daughter, Lynn Dee, and a son, Steven Edmund. Grandparents of Georgianne are Mr. and Mrs.

Edmund Ross, 718 Third St. NW. and Mr. and Mrs. George F.

John McNally, Waco, Tex. Mrs. Rucker was graduated from the Wheaton Academy and College, Wheaton, attended Baylor University in Waco. The bridegroom also attended Wheaton Academy, and was graduated from Baylor this year. He was recently commissioned a lieutenant in the Air Force, and will be stationed in Houston, Tex.

After a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple will make its home in Fort Worth pending his assignment to Houston. RESIDENTS RETURN Mr. and Mrs. Forrest G. Burns of Dallas, formerly of Albuquerque, were the Christmas Eve guests of Mr.
