Me-chem in the governor's residence in Santa Fe will be the statewide March of Dimes coffee Thursday morning, to be attended by about 325 women from throughout the state. The event will begin a series of benefit gatherings.

Mrs. Ross Choose Daughter's Name Mr, and Mrs. Edmund Pitt Ross, 439 Dartmouth Dr. NE, have chosen the name Georgi- anne Franklin Ross for their daughter, born Dec. 18, in Presbyterian Hospital.

They are also the parents of a daughter, Lynn Dee, and a son, Steven Edmund. Grandparents of Georgianne are Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Ross, 718 Third St. NW.

NW, became the bride of Richard Hivling Stpkes of Los Alamos Friday afternoon in the chapel of the First Presby terian Church, witih the Rev, Jack Prichard officiating. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. George Hivling Stokes of Troy, N. Y.

Mrs. Bennett Foster was organist for the ceremony. White gladioli decorated the altar for the candlelight ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a waltz length gown of light ivory taffeta and shoulder length veil. Gardenias and white feathered carnations formed her crescent cascade bouquet.

Mrs. John D. Robb sister of the bride, was matron of honor wearing an aqua and gold brocade sheath. The bride's other attendant was Mrs. George Hight of Gallup, dressed in a champagne colored dress.

Both carried bronze fug; mums. Robert Leachman was best man, and John D. Robb Jr. was the usher. The bride's parents' home was the scene of the wedding reception, where Cnristmas greens, gold and white chrysanthemums and gladioli were used in the decorations.

Assisting were Mrs. Lucile Harmon and Miss Jana Haley, both of Los Alamos. Attending from out of town, in addition to the bridegroom's parents, were Dr. and Mrs. Waight, Lajolla, Mr.

and Mrs. George Hight and Fred Hight of Gallup and E. B. Col-ton, Pasadena, Cal. After a wedding trip to Phoenix, the couple will he at home in Los Alamos.

Henry Byron Rucker of Lapeer, Mich. Mrs. Ralph Marshall aocom-pained vocalist Miss Jean Reynolds at the organ. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown with bodice of Chantilly lace and bouffant tulle skirt over slipper satin. Her veil of French silk illusion was held by a Chantilly lace pillbox trimmed with seed pearls.

The bridal bouquet was a white orchid and stephanotis mounted on a Bible. Wearing azure blue velveteen and carrying a nosegay of blue carnations set in white net was Miss Marilyn Kohlhaas, maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the Misses Sandra Molin, Amelia, Janice Miller, Allegan, and Dalee Delaney, Hitchcock, Tex. Zolin Burson was best man, and James Brown, David Rucker and John McNally ushered. The flower girl was Miss Karen Rucker of Lapeer, Mich.

Mrs. Brown wore for her daughter's wedding a delphinium blue peau de soie sheath, and Mrs. Rucker wore a dresj ol navy shantung 7 I FMA ,1, Double ring wedding vows were read recently in the Fruit Avenue Baptist Church for Miss Margaret Jean Weaver and Glen Edward Witt. The Rev. Clarence Buie officiated at the wedding of the daughter of Mr.

Blair, 219 Granite NE. Organist was Jack Foster, accompanying vocalists Mrs. W. C. Bass Jr.

and Don Forrester. The bride's father gave her in marriage. She wore a floor length gown of imported lace featuring an illusion neckline with mandarin collar Her full illusion veil was held by a tiny cap studded with miniature seed pearls. Miss Lorretta Wilkinson was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were the Misses Wanda Cooke and Jacqui Duncan. Terry Griffith was best man, and Leonard and Jerry Witt, brothers of the bridegroom, ushered.
