DINING SERVICEThe New Mexico Restaurant Association has launched a campaign to help New Mexico save water and energy as the result of a Senate Memorial approved by the 1994 Legislature. The Memorial, signed by Lt. Governor Casey Luna, requested New Mexico restaurants to serve water only when customers asked for it. Restaurants affiliated with the restaurant association can join the campaign by displaying a special water conservation card at dinner tables.

The New Mexico Restaurant Association cards say: "We're helping New Mexico save water and you'd like a glass of water, please let us we'll be happy to serve you.".
