EIGHT Jesse Man Dies; Rites Scheduled JESSE (RNS) McMiilion, 86, of Jesse died at 10:30 pjn. Saturday in a Welch Death was attributed to a stroke. He was bora March 10, 1884, in Kentucky. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Allie Bailey McMHHon of Jesse; a daughter, Mrs.

Vernie Stewart of Matheny; an adopted son, Ferman Ackelson of Matheny; five grandchildren end eight great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 Tuesday in 'the Matheny' Methodist Church with Rev. Has Fatal Attack CYCLONE (RNS) James Kenner Workman, 60, of Cyclone died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday in a Man hospital. Death wa's attributed to a heart attack.

Born Feb. 8,1910, at Cyclone, he was a son of the late Gordon and Rebecca Lusk Workman. His wife, Mrs. Mahulda. Workman, died in 1567.

Survivors include a son, Douglas of Cyclone; two stepsons, Elva Brown of Lynco and Naaman Brown of Cyclone; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Alva Workman, Workman Mrs. and Mrs. Winnie Lusk. all of Cyclone, and six grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Bright Prospect Baptist Church at Cyclone with Rev. Kennis Lusk and Rev. Joe Boothe in charge. Burial will be in the Brown Cemetery at Cyclone.

The body will be, taken to the home at 3 pan. today from Evans Funeral Home in Oceana. Man In Fayette Succumbs At 78 MEADOW BRIDGE (RNS) -Frank Elmer Wolf, 78, of Meadow Bridge died Saturday Fayetteville nursing home after a long illness. A resident of Meadow Bridge for 25 years, he was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church and was a retired coal miner. Surviving is his wife Frances.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Harrah Cemetery at Backus Mountain. The body will be taken to church one hour prior to the funeral from the Wallace and Wallace Rainelie. Funeral Home at Mrs.

Baxter Francis. A color scheme of yellow and green was carried out a wedding motif. The refreshment table was. covered with yellow with a green lace overlay and centered with an arrangement of yellow roses, flanked by yellow tapers in crystal holders. Goode, of Oak Hill, represented the ILS. Air Force during recent Japanese Culture Day ceremonies in Tokyo's Meiji Park. An estimated 300,000 Japanese celebrants watched as Sgt Goode, a band superintendent of the Fifth Air Force Band, and fellow bandsmen marched! along wooded roadways to the famed Mieji Shrine where they performed. Their blue uniforms presented a striking contrast to the robes of Shinto priests and the ancient garb of the Yabusame (mounted Japanese bowmen) who also participated in the festivities. Ike annual, observance -honoring Emperior Meiji under whose reign the Japanese, progressed from feudalism, to modern nationalism, pro-i motes culture.

It is an occasion! for me people to demonstrate love of freedom and peace. Sgt Goode is assigned at Yamato Air Station, Tokyo. He is a member of the Pacific Air Forces.
