Wednesday through Saturday; 8 p.m. Sundays and Mondays Tropicana face lift to include remodeled rooms The Tropicana Resort and Casino's yearlong enhancement program, which included the recent completion of a "Caribbean Village" facade and a new front entrance, will be expanded to include the remodeling of all 1,900 guest rooms. Remodeling began with the Tro-picana's original wing rooms and will shortly expand to the resort's two towers. The enhancements will also include a new laser light show on the Outer bland facing the "The New Four Corners" and "Wildlife Walk" and featuring a collection of birds and wildlife in replicas of natural settings. The Tropicana, also called "The Island of Las Vegas," developed its tropical theme in 1986 when it created a five-acre water park featuring lagoons, spas, waterfalls, lush foliage and the world's largest indoor-outdoor pool.
