The colors of the' four schools represented at the banquet were among those jr used in the decorating color scheme for the event and bouquets of pom pens and corn flowers were used as centerpieces. Ceramic figurines in Cheerleading outfits complete with pom pons centered each of the three tables where the cheerleaders were seated. a Oceana High School were Dianne Lubonia.

Mrs. Arthur Poff, president of the county council and vice president of the Pineville club, introduced Mrs Margaret Meador. county extension agent for Mercer County, who discussed the work of the Extension Homemakers Club She stated the club is for members who are trying to make their home, community and state a better place The first object of the homemakers is edua- tion and other things are a a community programs. She announced an area meeting will be held at the Wyoming County -Youth Crimp in June.

The theme will be "Crafts That Will Become Heritage Crafts." The May meeting will be in Fellowship Hall of the United Methodist Church with Mrs Crews and Mrs i i a hostesses.
