Wigent, 75, a 3-month resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday in a local hospital. Ward, 68, a prominent Lovington attorney, who died Thursday in a Lovington hospital after an extended illness. Services will begin at 10 a.m. at St.

Mary's Episcopal Church in Lovington. Burial will follow in the Lovington Cemetery. Ward began his legal career in Tucumcari where he worked for six years. He later moved to Santa Fe where he became an assistant attorney general. After moving to Lovington in 1948, he served as attorney for the Lovington School Board and as city attorney.

Ward was born in Las Vegas, N.M. and attended New Mexico Normal University, which is now Highlands University. He received his law degree from the University of Michigan College of Iiw in He is survived by his wife, Louise; three sons, Charles E. Ward of Lansing, Van Noble Ward of Las Cruces and Daniel Robert Ward of Houston, and a sister, Mrs. Harriet Louise Rienets of Grand Junction, Colo.
