The Greyhounds of coach Bill Kelly have a 3-1 record.

Central (Okla.) State (4-0) moves from No. 2 to the top spot after its 31-24 victory last week over Northeastern Oklahoma, formerly the No. 9 and now the No. 15 team in the NAIA. Elon (N.C.) is No.

2, while defending national champion Carson-Newman (Tenn.) is the third-ranked team. Elon is 2-0 and CN 3-1, ENMU quarterback Kevin Kott is No. 2 nationally in passing with 311.3 yards a game and No. 3 in total offense with 278.5 yards a game. Dale Mehr of Minnesota-Morris is first in both categories, averaging 337.3 yards in passing and 341.3 in total offense.

Also, ENMU wide receiver Steve Jackson is tied for sixth nationally with six catches a game. Overall, he has caught 24 for 277 yards. The No. 1 receivers in the NAIA ranks are Lance Gasaway of Arkansas-Monticello and Paul Huber of Minnesota-Morris with 8.3 catches a game. The Greyhounds, who entertain Southern Colorado Saturday afternoon at 2, are third in team passing with 311.3 yards a game.

Basketball Pam McGee, a member of the United States' Olympic gold medalists, and her twin, Paula McGee, have signed contracts to play for the Dallas Diamonds of the new Women's American Basketball Association. The 6-foot-3 McGees, both center-forwards, helped lead the University of Southern California to the 1983 and 1984 national women's collegiate championships. Cleveland Cavalier guard Geoff Huston was free on $700 bond Wednesday following his arrest on charges of sexual imposition, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, the Lake County sheriff's department reported. Huston was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly causing a disturbance inside a convenience store, said Chief Deputy Richard A. Amiott.

When a woman customer walked into the store, Amiott said, Huston grabbed her, and the woman hit him in the chest. A store clerk then called the sheriffs department, Amiott said. Marques Johnson, acquired by the Los Angeles Clippers last Saturday, suffered an avulsion fracture of the little finger on his right hand in practice Tuesday night but shouldn't miss more than three preseason games. A spokesman for the Clippers said that Johnson almost certainly won't play Friday night when the team faces Denver in its National Basketball Association preseason opener or Saturday night when the club battles Golden State. Atlanta Hawks veteran guard Mike Glenn said he might sit out the National Basketball Association exhibition season before signing a contract.

"We've reached a standstill," Glenn said Wednesday. The Portland Trail Blazers' first-round draft pick, Sam Bowie of Kentucky, suffered a cracked rib in a scrimmage and won't practice for the next 10 days to two weeks. Other Football There has been no change in the condition of Ed Reinhardt, the University of Colorado football player critically injured more than two weeks ago in a game against Oregon. A nursing supervisor at Sacred Heart General Hospital here said today that Reinhardt remained in a coma and in critical condition. The 19-year-old sophomore collapsed on the sideline at the end of the Sept.

842-2354 (collect. If necessary), Wednesday, between 2 and 6 p.m. LAOOC Gives Ueberroth $475,000 Bonus By Maura Dolan LOS ANGELES TIMES getting more in 1983." In 1980, a committee source said, Ueberroth was paid about $168,000 in salary and bonuses. In 1981, he received in 1982, in 1983, $265,000. Usher received total compensation in 1980 of in 1981, in 1982, 1983, $260,000.

Ueberroth accepted no compensation this year. Amy Quinn, spokeswoman for the committee, said that Ueberroth decided to take no pay to show solidarity with Olympic volunteers. Usher will earn a little more than $150,000 in 1984 in addition to his bonus. Usher said that he was "very pleased" by his bonus. Hannah Carter, a member of the compensation committee, said she considered the bonuses "low in light of the results achieved." Card Walker, former chairman of the board of Walt Disney Productions also QAmrArl nn tht nfmittAA chairman of the compensation committee.

Last month, Ueberroth and Usher announced that the Olympic committee had accumulated a $150 million surplus that will be given to the U.S. Olympic Committee and a foundation to support youth sports in Southern California. Committee executives have said since then that they expect the surplus to grow a little as more income is received. At the time of the surplus announcement, Ueberroth and Usher said 6,500 bonus checks had been mailed to their employees. The average bonus was $1,100, with the range from $500 to $35,000 for group vice presidents.

Ziffren noted that Ueberroth and Usher were paid "very modest" compensation before 1983. "In the early years, they were getting very modest salaries," Ziffren said. "It was when it was proven that it was going to be a finnnHnllv that Hiv trtH to Ueberroth and Usher "reasonable." "I think the (public) reaction is going to be very good," to the bonuses, Ziffren said. "I think everybody is very happy with the results of the committee. They recognize that these results were extraordinary." The three members of the board's compensation committee that decided the size of the bonuses said that they were awarded based on Ueberroth and Usher's performance, the salaries and bonuses they have received since joining the Olympic committee and the amount of compensation paid to senior executives with similar responsibilities in private corporations.

"Without their extraordinary leadership and talent, stemming from their deep commitment to the Olympic movement and the people of Southern California, the 1984 Games might have had a far different outcome." said Rnv I. Ash. LOS ANGELES Los Angeles Olympic President Peter V. Ueberroth was awarded a $475,000 merit bonus by a committee of the Los Angeles Olympic Board of Directors Tuesday and General Manager Harry L. Usher was given a $350,000 bonus for what board members called their "extraordinary" performance.

On another matter, Usher said that the Olympic committee has "no legal or moral obligation to reimburse the Southern California Rapid Transit District for a $5.1 million deficit it reported from its Olympic operations. District directors have voted to ask the Olympic committee to pay off the debt. Paul Ziffren, chairman of the Olympic committee's Board of Di- Sports on Television Local Station!
