Lois Fillmer of Beckley, will preside at the all-day meeting as president of the Bluestone Presbytery Youth Fellowship. She and four other local young people, Beverly Follmer, John Witherspoon, James Witherspoon and Bill Sigmund, will be in charge of the opening worship service.

The Witherspoon lads' father, Dr. J. W. Witherspoon, will speak "Ye Are the Light of the Mrs. Witherspoon is commission chairman.

G. Wilcox of Daniels left this morning for Norfolk, where she will board an excursion boat bound for Baltimore, Md. She will visit her son, John Edgar Prince, in that city and go on to Washington, D. to visit her brother and his wife, Mr. and Edward Riffe.

Members of Circle No. 7 of the First Baptist church met yesterday at the home of Mrs. W. C. Covey on Woodlawn avenue.

The meeting was opened with the song, "Savior Like a Shepherd Lead Us." followed by a reading of the circle motto. The devotionals were conducted by Mrs. R. -T. Eckle who also recited poem.

Mr. and Mrs. William Ballard, McAlpin, are the parents of a girl born in the Beckiey hospital at 6:25 a. m. yesterday.

Mr. and Mrs. Jacom Plumby, Abraham, are the parents of a boy born at 12:40 p. m. yesterday in the Raleigh General hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Grubb, Glen Morgan, are the parents of a boy born in the Faleigh General hospital at 11:50 p.

J. Frame of Fayetteville officiated at the ceremony which took place before an altar banked with early fall flowers. The traditional wedding music was played by Miss Doris Jean Paris who also accompanied the vocalist, Miss Polly Jennings. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore for her wedding a white gown fashioned with tight bodice with an off the shoulder effect. Her finger tip veil was caught in a ruffled lace coronet and she carried a colonial bouquet of mixed gladioli.

Her only ornament was a strand of pearls. Mrs. Lowell Amos of Chicago, sister of the bridegroom. was matron of honor. She was attired in taffeta gownwith square neckline and her flowers were white and pink camillas.

The bridesmaids, Miss Catherine Paris and Miss Frieda Mae Dartiels wore light marquisette gowns and their flowers were yellow roses. The two little flower girls, Janet Louise Lawrence, and Ruth Coleman wore white dresses and carried blue and pink baskets of flower petals. Serving his friend as best man was Lacy Jamison, and ushers were Daniel Sexton, Charles Eitt, Tow Lawrence of Cunard and Charles Spencer of Beckley. A reception in the home of the bride's parents followed the ceremony. The bridal table was centered with a tiered cake with minilature bride and bridegroom on top.

The cake was encircled with white roses. Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Browning, Blair, bridegroom's maternal grandparents; Mrs. Ella Barr, Chicago.
