nursing home after a four year illness. Born near Red Sulphur in 1877 Mrs. Thompson was a daughter of the late Joseph and Cornelia Ann Neel. She was a member of Ballarc Baptist Church and was married to Charles Thompson, who died in 1956. Survivors include two daughters Mrs.

David Pence of Willow Bend and Mrs. Aubrey Ballard of Mul lens; three sons, Albert of Red Sul phur, Hubert, of Little Rock, Ark, and Richard of Peterstown; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grand children. The funeral will be conducted a 2 p.m. Thursday at the Red Sul phur Church by the Rev. Howard Spencerof Cashmere and the Rev E.

E. Chafin of Rich Creek. Buria will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken from Broyles Funeral Home at Peters town to the residence of a son Richard, at 2 p.m. Wednesday am to the church one hour before the funeral.

Born in Monroe County, Nov. 22 1857, she was a daughter of the Granville and Mary Catherine Vines Lowe. She spent most her life in Summers County anc formerly taught school. Mrs, Meadows war, a member of The Central Baptist Church and Ihe Jennie Jacobs Mission Circle. Her husband, William died in 1941, and a son, Ronald, died in JJJ55.

It was estimated about 30 children have very little food for lunch due to the fact their parents have no income.
