The Rev. Harry R. Bias Jr. is minister of the Mount Hope Baptist Temple. A cordial invitation is extended by the Rev.

Ray R. Hanson minister of the Presbyterian Church, for the public to attend the Sunday school program to be presented by children today. Their Christmas service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday. The children's program for the Mount Hope Methodist Church was held on Sunday evening and a candlelight communion service will be held on Christmas Eve.

Members of the primary and junior departments of the Mount Hope Pilgrim Holiness Church presented the Christmas play, entitled, "Christmas In Cobbler's Shop" Sunday evening. The Rev. H. Vernon Thomas is pastor of the church. The annual Christmas program of the children of the Mount Hope Christian Church was held Monday evening.

The Senior Choir will present special Christmas music at the morning worship Sunday. The Rev. C. R. Berry, minister of the Mount Hope Christian Church, has announced that the recreation and fellowship hour for the local college students and ones in service will be held Dec.

28. This is sponsored by the Mount Hope Ministerial Association. Members of the various choirs of the churches in Mount Hope who have formed the Mount Hope Civic Chorus, under the direction of Robert Evans, will give their i performance entitled, "Carols of Christmas" Sunday at 2 p. m. in the Mount Hope High School Auditorium.

Burial will be in the Bays Cemetery near Summerlee. Mrs. Smith died at her home at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday after a long ainess. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
