SON, Frank Nash and Percy Hullings. Halloween Party Held At School ALDERSON (RNS) The Pence Springs Homeroom Mothers gave a Halloween party at the Pence Springs Grade School Monday afternoon. Teacher for the first and ond grades is Miss Danese Haynes. Prizes for costumes were Tammy Serreno, Brenda Canterbury, Timmy Gore, and Peggy Jones. Prizes won for games were Phyliss Blevins, Helen Crow, Phyliss Canterbury and Michael Canterbury.

The third and fourth grade teacher is Mrs. Ira Woods. Prizes won for costumes were Douglas Serreno, Pamela Blevins, Lloyd Gore and Betty old and games, Lonis Dodd, Lloyd Gore and Louise Gore. The fifth and sixth grade teacher is Mrs. India Rudisill.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Sharkey and Mr. and Mrs. Lewell Phillips, all of Holden, attended activities this past weekend at West Virginia University, Morgantown.

The Sharkeys visited their daughter, Pam, a WVU freshman. Last summer Miss Sharkcy represented Logan County in state competition for the title of Miss West Virginia. The St. Mary's Catholic Church of Holden will hold open house from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m, Sunday sponsored by the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine, it was announced by Robert Wagner, chairman.

There will be a tour of the church showing displays of sacred vessels, vestments and altar appointments. Also there will be explanation of the confessional mass and other Catholic devotions. Refreshments will be served by the Altar Society. Rev. Joseph Norton, pastor, invites the public to attend.
