TWELVE BECKLEY W. VA, MONDAY MORNING, OCTOBER 30, 1901 Candidates For Carnival Beauty Events Are Told RHODELL (RNS) Plans were completed here Sunday for a town carnival. A Mrs. Rhodell, a Miss Rhodell and the prettiest baby will be crowned at the carnival. Candidates for Mrs.

RhodeH are: Mrs. Emmett McKinney, Mrs. Albert Dunford, Mrs. Ida Calloway and Mrs. Bernice Hamlin.

Candidates for Miss Rhodell are: Patricia McKinney, Nancv Crigger, Dana Burdiss and Belinda Sizemore. Only one baby ha been entered in the prettiest baby contest. She is Lisa Belcher, three-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Belcher.

Mayor Rosa McKinney urged that other babies be entered in the contest. Numerous games, contests and other activities will be featured in the carnival. Proceeds will go toward the town playground fund. Industrial Meet Linkous Funeral The public is reminded of an open meeting at- 7:30 p.m. today in the Raleigh County Courthouse on plans and projects to be undertaken by the New-Kanawha Industrial Corp.

Harrison 0. Ash, president of the corporation, will be principal speaker. Former Gov. Okey L. Patteson, Commerce Commissioner Hulett C.

She was a resident of Raleigh County most of her life.
