The Lobos were scheduled to open the 1975 outdoor home season last Saturday against NAIA champion Eastern New Mexico, but rainy weather forced cancellation of the meet.

The two mile relay team comprised of John Allison, Jay Miller, Tom Snowden and Bob Phippen turned in a school record performance earlier this season at Poca-tello with a 7:25.4 clocking.
