Recommended modifications to DART'S Rout and Schedule Structure, as weH as recommended modifications lo DART'S Fare Zones and Fare Levels wiH be presented at each of the public hearings. Regarding Route and Schedule revisions, changes are recommended for virtually all routes, as follows: Schedule Change Only: Routes A1.A2.A5, A14, AB1, B8, B9, BI2, 614, B)6. Minor. Rather than using the present letter, number, name combination, it is proposed that the routes be designated by a number, followed bv Ihe name of the route's maior travel corridor. In nearly all instances, route numbers would revert to their former (prior to institution of letternumber) designations. Regarding Fare Zones and Fare Levels, DART is proposing increasing Ihe number of fare jones from the present three (3) tones to four (4) tones, based on equal radii from the centerpolnt, Rodney Square. The Regular Peak Period tare would be 60c for the first lone and 20c for each additional tone. A Reduced Base Period tore of 50c for the first zone and 20c for each additional zone is proposed.

Express bus service would carry a 20c premium charge. Fares for elderly and handicapped patrons would be 25c, with no additional zone charges. Transfers would remain al 5c, valid only for a single zone trip from the point of transfer.
