2 at Cuyahoga Falls Country Place, following a long illness. Mr. Franke was born in Akron, and lived in the area all of his life. Larry was a truck driver for many, years, and served in the Army during World War Il. Noel Richard Gibson M.D. Marie, he is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory and Cindy of Anaheim Hills, Rick and Linda of Union town; daughter and sonin-law, and John 'Nopper of Akron; daughter, Jane Glauthier of sisters, Noel Richard Gibson M.D., 39, of San Francisco, formerly of Kent, died Sept. 28, 1990, following a motorcycle accident enroute to Fort Ord, prior to active duty in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Gibson was born in Wheeling, W.

and graduated from Hudson High School in 1968. He received his B.S. degree in chemistry and physics from Kent State University in 1972, where he was also a graduate student in physiology. Dr. Gibson attended Ohio State University College of Medicine from 1979 to 1982, and received doctorate in medicine.

He served his residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Martinez, He was board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and was also a board-certified trauma surgeon. Dr. Gibson had been a staff physician at Lederman Army Hospital, and was a captain in the U.S. Army Reserve. brother survived Mary by Susan his sister and Terr- and ence L.

Kuntz, and their five children, of Wheeling, W. sister, Ruth A. Gibson (attorney at law) of Akron; uncles, Ross E. Carnahan and Ralph S. Carnahan, both of Wheeling, W.

Va. A funeral mass for Dr. Gibson will be held in San Francisco, with interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Wheeling, W. Va. A local memorial mass will be celebrated Sunday, Oct.

He was born in Deerfield, and lived in Akron most of his life. He was a stationary engineer for the City of Akron and the Akron Board of Education. He served in the U.S.

Army during World War I1, and was a member of the Moose Mogadore Lodge 1082. in 1975 as a tool and die maker with 21 years service, was a member of the Ford Retirees Sunshine Club, Falls Garden Club, and Alcoholics Anonymous. Preceded in death by grandchildren, Michael McGurn, David Howard and Jessica Fulton, he is survived by wife, Viola; daughters, Blanche Howard of Oakville, Ontario, Canada, Margo Torowski of Seven Hills, Ohio, Lynne Shannon of Stow, June McGurn of Crestline, Penny Fulton and son, Chris Heindel, both of Cuyahoga Falls; 21 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Marguerite Kirke of Vancouver, British Columbia. 26, 1990, at the home of her daughter, Carolyn Parsons, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Parsons was born in Akron, and had lived in DeLand, for 40 years before moving to Boulder, Colo. She was employed as a switchboard operator at West Volusia Memorial Hospital in DeLand, retiring 14 years ago. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Kayci Parsons of Boulder, son, Jack Parsons of Seattle, four grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; brother and sister-inlaw, Norman and Geraldine Siegfried of Akron.

2, 1990, at Akron General Medical Center. He was born in Cetea, Romania, came to the United States in 1921, and lived in Dearborn, until moving to Akron in 1979. He was a detective sergeant for the Dearborn Police Department for over 21 years, and was a member of the Presentation of Our Lord Orthodox Church, the Orthodox Brotherhood, the Fellowship of St. Simeon, Fairlawn Optimists Club, VFW Post 1494, American Legion Post 343, Marasesti Society, and the Dearborn Retired Police and Firemen's Association. Mr.

Sandru is survived by his wife, Edith (Dita); daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Rev. Fr. Laurence Lazar of Fairlawn; grandchildren, John Nicholas L. and Ana V. Lazar; sister, Sophie Meyers of New Middletown, Ohio; several cousins and other relatives in the United States and Romania.

Vittitoe TALLMADGE Barbara R. Vittitoe, 68, passed away Oct. 1, 1990 at Akron City Hospital, after an extended illness. She was born to Henry and Mildred Robb on Sept. 5, 1922 in Minden, at the home of her grandmother; the family took residence in McCook, High School in 1940, State Neb.

She graduated from Me McCook University in 1944, and completed her internship at Michael Reese Hospital in 1945. Her entire professional career was spent at Akron City Hospital as a registered dietician. She was a member of the American Dietetic Association, Akron Dietetic Association, and the P.E.O. Chapter B.M. of Akron.

She was previously active with the Bow-Wow Dog Training Club, Pilot Dogs of Columbus and Steele Valley Airedale Terrier Association. She was also active in grooming and raising miniature schnauzer dogs. She was a member of the Goodyear Heights Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mildred Robb of McCook, she is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Raymond; son and daughter-in-law, Bryce and Janet Vittitoe of Akron; daughters and sonsin-law, Leesa and Scott Hileman of Akron, Linda and Randall Merklin of Cincinnati; and six grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Goodyear Heights Presbyterian Church, 1430 Goodyear Akron, Rev. C. Edwin Houk officiating. Private interment at Tallmadge Cemetery.

He was a retired cabinetmaker. He was a good and decent man who cared deeply for his family, and is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Alma of St. Charles, David and Jane of Mogadore, Ray and Patti of Bath, Gregory and Diana of Coventry, and Lowell and Janet of Wadsworth; 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Elmer, and is survived by brother, Paul of Universal City, Texas; sisters, Catherine Weber of Brookville, Marjorie Cadwallader of New Port Richey, and Dorothy Pettit of Akron. Sebastian's Catholic Church, past board member of the Summit County Machine Shop Group, and a member of the Izaak Walton League, the Sons of Herman, the German-American Club and the Ducks Unlimited. Preceded in death by parents, Paul and Theresa Wiandt, and brother, Lt. William P. Wiandt, U.S.A.F., he is survived by wife, Annabel; children, Bill Wiandt, Pam Cartwright, Donna, Grigas, Gene P.
