He was born in Yugoslavia, came to the United States in 1906, and to Akron in 1908.

He was employed by Goodyear Tire Rubber Co. in the engineering division for over 46 years, retiring in 1971. He was a member of St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, American Serbian Senior Citizens Club, Goodyear 25-Year Club and the A.A.R.P. Ray was very active in area sports in the late '20s and early '30s in baseball and with the Yellow Cabs Semi Pro Football Team.

The Beacon Journal C7 Mary Jesel BRADY LAKE Mary Jesel, 76, of Erie Street, Brady Lake, died Friday the home of her daughter in Stow. She was born Nov. 10, 1913 in McKeesport, to Michael and Helen Oros. She came to the area from Brooklyn, N. in 1956.

She was a cook at the Kent Lanes, and in 1988 retired from the Fiesta Restaurant. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church. She is survived by her sons, William C. Jr.

of Kent and Henry A. of Portersville, daughters, Pat Balko of Stow and Mary Ann Jesel of Kent; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also vived by her brothers, Tom Oros and Jim Oros, both of Ravenna, John Oros of Brady Lake; sisters, Theresa Kohler and Vera Davis, both of Naples, Helen Matison of McKeesport, and Irene Longell of Reno, Nev.
