Dobson of Bellaire, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Maloney, 1113 Roma Ave. NW, will be officer-in-charge of the regional leadership conference of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority to be held at Hotel Muehl- bach, Kansas on Oct. 18 and 19.

The bride, given marriage by Mr. Sheley, wore a coral velveteen suit with a matching hat, a white orchid corsage and black accessories. Attendants were Miss Jo Spears of Dallas, maid-of-honor, and the bride's brother, Jack Thompson. Miss Spears wore an aqua faille ensemble with a corsage of pink roses. Joseph Spears, Dallas, assisted at fhe reception immediately following the ceremony. The home was decorated with yellow gladioli and palms, and at the serving table yellow chrysanthemums. The bride is a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, Wichita, and attended the University of New Mexico. Mr. Thomas was graduated from UNM and until recently was owner of the Foto-Krome Laboratory here.

The couple left for Mexico City, where tney will spend a month. U. The Misses Cynthia Knecht, Janet Hammerman and Adrienne Biren, who served as attendants, wore iridescent talisman colored silk organza over taffeta and carried cascade bouquets of talisman roses. Stanley Linder was Dr. Prince's best man. Ushers were Richard Steinberg and Paul Ullman. ne westwooa Temple was decorated with roses gladioli and fern accenting the autumn color theme while the aisle standards bore the traditional bouquets of white flowers and ribbons.

The ceremony was followed by a reception in the Beverly-Wil-shire hotel attended by 375 guests. The couple left on a wedding trip. They will live in Beverly Hills. Mrs. Prince is a graduate of Beverly Hills High School and attended the University of Califor- Graceland Dr.

SE, is now in Beverly Hills, where she Is enrolled at the Lawton School for Medical and Dental Assistants. Joins Thespians Miss Donna Jean Hargrave, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C.

Hargrave, 3917 La Hacienda Dr. NE, has joined the Trinity University Players, a dramatic society, and will appear in the group's first play this season, which opens Oct. 20. Miss Hargrave is a freshman at Trinity University, San Antonio, Tex. cafeteria.

Mary Deans, also visiting in Albuquerque. Mary Deans, the former Mary Fifield, a graduate of Albuquerque High School, is in the same mission work in Africa. Both the Spee's and the Deans families were featured in a Saturday Evening Post article, published in April, 1951, last year, telling of their missionary work in Africa. Mr. and Mrs.

'Cowboy in Literature Will Be Dobie's Subject "The Cowboy in Literature will be the subject of the lecture at 8 p.m. Wednesday by J. Frank Dobie, Texas folklorist, in the Student Union Ballroom at the Uni versity of New Mexico. Dobie, author of 13 books on the cowboy and Mexican vaquero, is considered one of the most out standing writers in southwestern literature.
