Grems, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Grans of Estherville, thte First Presbyterian Church in Spirit Lake July 31. Rev. B.

J. Swede performed the double-ring ceremony. Mrs. Lloyd of Spirit Lake, organist, played the traditional wedding music. The bride, escorted down the aisle by her father, wore a floor-length gown of silk linen with Empire bodice encircled by a row of Venise lace, portrait neckline, and kabuki sleeves w'th the lace accent.

The modified line skirt was highlighted by a lace-bordered and detachable train. Her veil of imported silk illusion fell from an open crown of! Venise lace trim to complete her ensemble. Her only jewelry was a pair of cultured pearl earrings, a gift from the bridegroom. The bride carried a circular bouquet of blue chrysanthemums and white carnations. Susan Carlson, sister of the bride, served as miaid of honor.

Jeannette Grems of Estherville, sister of the brideeroom served as! bridesmaid. Both were identically attired in floor-length gdwns of sky blue silk linen, i style with kabuki sleeves. Their headpieces were headbands, complimenting (he dresses. Each carried a circular bouquet of white chrysanthemums accented with blue net. Thyra Sorensen and Leo Sorensen look Rodger back to Sioux City Tuesday afternoon and visited with Strandskov and Niels. R. Ellsworth Jr. of Spencer. The nsw Mrs. Grems is a 1968 graduate of Spirit Lake High School and a 1986 graduate of (Mankato State College.

She will be employed 'as a primary teacher in the South Bay Union School System, Imperial Beach, Calif. Ensipn G-envs is a 19S0 graduate of Estherville High School, 1962 graduate of Estherville Junior College, and 1964 uate of Mankato State College. He is presently serving on the USS PorterfieJd. Ensign and Mrs. Grems will live in Imperial Beach.

Auto Injuries Keep Guests from Reunion RINGSTED of honor at a family reunion Sunday at the Fagre cottage on Spirit Lake were not present because of injuries received in an automobile accident in South Sioux City en route to Ringsted. Frede Strandskov and i younger son, Niels, were hospitalized after the accident and another son, Rodger, was unhurt. Mr. Strandskov was badly bruised and is staying at the Shareton Hotel in Sioux City Niels is hospitalized at St. Vincents hospital with a broken jaw.

The Strandskovs are residents of New Jersey and had been touring the Midwest the last 10 days, visiting relatives and Strandskov's childhood homes at Rosenborg and Kronberg, Neb. They had visited Grandview College at Des Moines and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where he had been a student as a young man. He is a bacteriologist for the Shaejer Brewing Co. of New York. Saturday, when the accident occurred, they were en route to Ringsted to visit his sister, Mrs.

Thyra Sorensen, and the Leo Sorensens. Mr. and Mrs. Carl G. Chris tiansen, of Tyler, brother-in-law and sister of skov, went to Sioux City Sunday morning and brought Rodger with them to the reunion at Spirit Lake.

Irma Ped- were hostesses for the evening. Mrs. Lois Bringle and Mrs. Donald Lundy served on the hospitality committee. Connie Kinnard Honored at Shower Connie Kinnard, who will be married Sept.

3 to Richard Brady, was honored recently at a 9:30 a.m. shower at the Joe Buckley home. Hostesses were Mrs. Buckley and Mary Jo, Mrs. Wayne Crim and Cheryl.

Connie and her mother, Mrs. William Kinnard, were given corsages of yellow carnations, tied with green ribbon. The guest list included Mrs. Richard Sidles, Mrs. Virgil Brady, Judy Lutter, Mary Meadows, Judy Wellnitz, Kathy Edwards, Mrs.
