King and associate Constance Harper are on trial in U.S. District Court for allegedly skimming $1 million in corporate receipts and are charged with 20 counts of tax evasion; tax returns. Ernie Young, Don King Productions' outside accountant from 1975 to 1983, testified that $1.1 million was inadvertently recorded improperly. The prosecution doesn't contend any wrongdoing with respect to this 1980 wire transfer, which went to King's wife, Henrietta. King's attorney, Vincent Fuller, used the opportunity to show that King's accounting department made mistakes.

A $20,000 check being recorded in the wrong year was another example pointed out by Fuller. Jootball Rational Football League umpire Hendi Ancich, who collided with a player in Sunday's game between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings, was released Monday from a Minneapolis hospital.
