Stephen John Pyle of Greenville and Sea Island, became the bride of Charles Mitchell Taylor Saturday. The Rev. Percy F. Rex performed the ceremony at 4:30 p.m. in Trinity Episcopal Church.

PARENTS of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. John Stanley Taylor of Westtown, Pa. A reception followed the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents; The bride, given in marriage J. Pyle III of Houstan, Texas, brothers' of the bride; Lewis Allen of Fort Washington, Thomas Holland of Smyrna; Iceland L.

Moyer of Pennington, N.J.; Donald P. Shaffer and Allan Titus of New York City; John S. Taylor of Westtown, brother of the bridegroom, and John S. Weltmer of Drexel Hill, Pa. Mrs.

Taylor, the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chester Norvin Pyle of Lans-downe, Pa. and the late Mr. and Mrs.

J. Warren Marshall of Yorklyn, attended Friends School of Wilmington, is an alumna of Chatham Hall, Chatham, Briarcliff Junior College, N.Y., and is now attending the University of Delaware. She made her debut at a dinner dance given by her parents in 1964 and also was a participant in the Holly Ball. She is a member of the Junior League of Wilmington. Mr.

Taylor graduated from Episcopal Academy, Philadelphia, and from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He is employed by the Du Pont Co. in New York City. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mrs. Charles D.

Mitchell of Wallingford, Pa. and the late Mr. Mitchell, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Nuttall Taylor of Lewisburg, W.

Va. and Swarthmore, Pa. After a wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor will reside in Princeton, N.J.

by her father, wore a long sleeved princess line gown of silk peau de soie. Her cathedral length veil was of heirloom Brussels lace which belonged to her maternal grandmother and was also worn by her mother. She carried a semi cascade bouquet of miniature orchids, gardenias, stephanotis and ivy. THE maid of honor was Miss Suzanne M. Rae of West New- ton, Mass.

Bridesmaids were Miss Carol J. Pyle and Miss Elizabeth M. Pyle of Greenville, and Miss Syzanne Pyle of Greenville and New York City, sisters of the' bride; Mrs. David Hillegas of Centerville; Miss Elise P. Mcll-vaine of Haverford, Pa.

and Briarcliff College, and Miss Gael Weltmer of West Chester, Pa. and Denison University. Honorary matron of honor was another sister of the bride, Mrs. Joseph F. Welch of Dalton, Pa.

The attendants wore empire gowns of yellow organza, wore fresh flowers in their hair and carried semi cascade bouquets of yellow rosebuds, miniature orchids, star of Bethlehem, gyp-sophila and ivy. FLOWER girls were Lorraine P. Welch and Winifred M. Welch. Rothwell Taylor, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man.

Bridesmaids were Miss Doris Becker, Miss Katherine Ellington of Walnut Cove, N.C.; Miss Sandy Leathers of Arlington, Miss Fran Williams of Williamsburg, Miss Karen Younkins of Hagerstown, and Miss Brenda Mullins of Clifton Forge, Va. The attendants wore apricot jakarta gowns with embroidery and velvet trim and carried baskets of daisies. BEST man was William J. Corrigan Jr. Ushers were Lt.

THE bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Matthew Hauser of 20 Perth Drive, Perth. Mr. Swick is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. Charles L. Swick of Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of silk organza accented with Ve-nise lace. A matching headpiece held her fingertip veil of silk illusion and she carried a cascade of orchids and stephanotis.

Matron of honor was Mrs. James Perry Hauser of Oxon Hill, Md. Bridesmaids were Miss Martha Jean and Miss Sally June Hauser, both sisters of the bride. The honor attendant wore a yellow gown of linen with a flower headpiece and carried a bouquet of daisies and purple asters. The bridesmaids wore Identical gowns in lavender.

BEST man for his son was Charles L. Swick of Saratoga Springs. Ushers were James Perry Hauser of Oxon Hill, brother of the bride; James Devane of Albany, N.Y.; and David Ballou of Philadelphia. The bride was graduated from Brandywine High School and the University of Delaware. She is employed by Allied Arts and Exhibits.

Both are graduates of John Dickinson High School. The bride is a graduate of Goldey Beacom Junior College. The bridegroom is employed by the Du Pont Co. after serving two years in the Army. Miss Weber, Mr.

Powell are engaged Mr. and Mrs. J. Markley Weber of 124 Commonwealth Claymont, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Marilyn Ruth Weber, to David John Powell IV. He is the son of Mr.

and Mrs. David J. Powell III of New Castle. He is a graduate of William Penn High School and attended the University of Delaware. He is a student at Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo.

Miss Weber is a graduate of Claymont High School and is employed by the Wilmington Medical Center. Kirschner, The bride-to-be attended the International School in Geneva, Switzerland, and graduated from Ursuline Academy in Wilmington. She is a member of the class to be graduated at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. next month, and is employed by the Farmers Union International Assistance Corp.
