Delmarwins in romp, 31-7 DELMAR Delmar High handed Lord Baltimore its eighth straight defeat in the Henlopen Football Conference here Saturday, 31-7. Luke Seefried kicked a 20-yard field goal and booted four conversions as Delmar won its fourth conference game against tnree defeats. Burt Culver aided the lop sided victory with a pair of TDs. Seefried's field goal started Delmar's scoring in the second period, then Jerry Elliott capped a TD drive with a plunge from the 1. Ed Wilkins scored on an 18-yard run for Delmar in the third period and Culver collected the first of his TDs on a 1-yard plunge.

Culver also scored from the 1 in the final period. Dale Steele prevented Lord Baltimore from getting blanked whe nhe dashed 55 yards in the final quarter and also ran across for the extra point. driver killed in race RIVERSIDE, Calif. UtV-Jim Ladd of Lebanon, driving what he said would be his last race, was killed yesterday in the last event of the day at the American Road Race of Ladd was third when his Austin-Healy 3000 spun out on a turn and was hit and sent rolling over and over into the infield. Ladd's wife, Sue, was in the pitts at the time. Ladd, 29,. father of boys ages 4 and 1, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

His wife followed the ambulance to the hospital and was there informed of his death. Anderson dashed 25 yards around right end to start the Hornets' scoring in the first period. Blackmon followed up by connecting with a 71-yard touch down pass to Willie Murray, who caught the ball on the 32 and ran the remaining distance.

Quarterback Clayton Grier's pass interception on St. Paul's 28 led to Delaware State's, sec ond-period TD. The Hornets drove to the 8 but were momentarily checked by a 15-yard holding penalty. Then Blackmon fired a 23-yard pass to Vern Gib son for the TD. Special Correspondent COLORA, Bed ford High, Delaware City, scored its first victory in nine games this season, edging West Nottingham Academy here Saturday, 20-18. It was Bedford's 1964 football finale.

West Nottingham, with one more game to play, is still looking for its first win in eight games. Al Wagner blocked a West Not tingham punt and recovered on the home team's 25 to set up ueatord first-period touch down. On the next play, Jim Anderson took a 25-yard scoring pass from Harry Sturgeon. Stump Costango ran for the extra point. West Nottingham timing back to score in the same period on a 60-yard, pass-run play from Craig Stevenson to John Mc-Gaffin.

Costango boosted Bedford's lead in the third period with a 3-yard run, capping a 65-yard, TD march. Mitch Oakes' placement made the score 14-6.
