John Walter has the plasterers at work first coating his new house. Messrs. H. W. Keller and Geo.

Oyler have begun shippeing peaches to Philadelphia. Last Wednesday when Charles Weaver, of near this place, was arranging in his barn to store his oats, a. board he stepped on broke and he fell through to the entry below and broke his right shoulder. Dr. Wolff adjusted the fracture.

The union Sunday School picnic held by the two schools of this place last Wednesday was largely attended and a pleasant time was had. P. BARLOW. Miss Mary Rudisill of this place is spending some time at the home of her sister, Mrs. John Irvtn of Philadelphia.
