Janet is survived by her husband, C. Gordon Gregg; her son, Donald G. Gregg, M.D. of Greenville, SC; her daughter, Linda K. Gregg of Wilmington; and 3 grandchildren.

"Phil" Age 38 of Claymont, DE died suddenly on January 17, 2002 at home. Mr. Griffith graduated from Claymont High School and from the Quaker City School of Aeronautics, where he received his Air Frame and Power License and FAA Certificate of Aeronautics. He was employed for 17 years at Boeing Helicopters in Ridley Park as an Aircraft Mechanic, Flight Test Mechanic and Supervisor. In addition to the Ridley Park location, Mr.

Griffith had temporary assignments to the Boeing facilities in Arlington, TX and the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Mr. Griffith held a Journeyman's Card in Local 1069 International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace Workers American. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Christopher Council. Phil enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and building flying, model rockets, with his family and friends.

Phillip is survived by his "best and devoted wife years, Barbara Jo Kiley Griffith; 2 daughters, "his best Kiley D. and Krystyna at home; his loving parents, John ad Midge Griffith; a loving sister, Julie, all of Wilmington; paternal grandparents, Paul and Fran of Wilmington and Eleanor Neal of UT; special great aunts, Barbara Shahadi PA and Louise Maslin of Wilmington; mother and father-in-law, Patti and Dan Kiley of Talleyville. She is survived by 2 daughters, Janet Fender Hockessin and Victoria DeMoss of Wilmington; and 4 grandchildren. Her daughter Susan died in 1993. Mr.

Barski retired in 1992 after 14 years as a mechanical, engiwith the Motors Corporation at Boxwood Rd. He was a member of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church and active with the GM Retirees Group. and Alice G. Fell Gant. He grew up in Deepwater and lived most of his life in Carney's Point. Mr. Gant retired in 1984 from the Salem City Public Schools after 26 years of service as a schoolteacher, guidance counselor, learning disabilities teach and head of the child study team.

He also served in the Marine Corps and Reserves, and upon retirement the officer's level of Major. Mr. Gant had been an active member of the Salem County Sportsmen's Club, was a member of the American Legion in Millsboro, DE and a former member of the Servicemen's Club and Sakima Country Club. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Gloria F. Zeiders Gant; daughters, Sharon G.

Age 82, of Milford, passed on Sunday, January 20, 2002 in Lewes, DE. He was born in Harrington, DE the son of the late Benjamin Lewis and Emma (Porter) Harrington.

He was the owner of Harrington's Market on N. Walnut Milford for 25 years. He served as a State Representative for 5 consecutive terms from 1966-1976. During this time, he served 2 terms as Minority Whip and 1 term as Majority Whip. While in office," he served on the Joint Finance, Judiciary, Labor Commerce, Constitution Revision, and Legislative Council Committees.

Lew also worked as a field representative for Brooks Armored Car Service and was a licensed realtor with McGinnis Commercial Real Estate Company, Dover. Lew was an Army Signal Corps veteran of WWII serving as a Staff Sergeant in the European Theater. He served on the Board of Directors of Milford Memorial Hospital, was a Charter member of V.F.W Blue Hen Post 6483, was a member of American Legion Post Milford, the Milford Elks Lodge BPOE 2401, served on the Board of Directors of Wilmington Trust Bank, and the State of Delaware Board of Elections, and on the Board of Directors for Delaware Park. He was a member, Catholic of St. Church, John the Apostle where he served on the Church Council.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Dowdy Harrington, in 1994. He is survived by 2 sons, Lewis B. Harrington, Jr. of Millsboro C. Harrington of Wilmington; 4 daughters, Joan of Wilmington, Jean H.

Barbara E. Kiley Harris Age 59 of New Castle, DE died suddenly on January 17, 2002. Mrs. Harris graduated from the Brandywine High School in 1960. She was employed by the Wilmington Trust Company, as a teller in 1960 and for the past 20 years was a Senior Teller in the Wilmington Trust Money Room.

Dedication and devotion to her husband, daughters, and family was enhanced by the anticipation of awaiting the birth of her first granddaughter in February. Mrs. Harris enjoyed her loving role as Aunt to Michael and Adrienne, her great nieces Kiley and Krystyna, and as a "best friend" to her niece Barbie. A sense be of it family the filled her giving life, at Sunday backyard parties at her parents home in Talleyville, or be it the annual gathering for Christmas Dinner at her home in New Castle. Being the only daughter of her parents, on the occasion of her wedding in 1962, her father closed the family business, Concord Forge, leaving his band his hand made sign on the front of the door, which "Closed for my daughter's wedding, my one and the only such closed day in 30 years of being in business.

Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband of 40 years, Norman 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Courtenay and Todd Hoernemann of Manhattan, KS, Stephanie and John Steiner of Mandan, ND: 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas L. and Kathryn Kiley of Hockessin and Daniel R. and Patti Kiley of Talleyville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel T.

and Helen E. Kiley Talleyville; her maternal grandparents, Arthur and Lydia McKinney of North East, MD; and her paternal grandparents, Thomas J. and Vera E. Kiley of Wilmington. James, age 63, of Newark, DE, died on Friday, January 18, 2002 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, after fighting a 12-year courageous battle against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease).

Mr. James retired from the DuPont Company after 25 years of service. During his career at DuPont, he was a world-wide service supervisor in the Mass Spectrometry division; a service supervisor in the Instrument Products division; and a manufacturing supervisor in the Medical Products division. After his retirement, Mr. James worked as a service representative TA Instruments, New Castle, DE, for 5 years.

Mr. James was a parishioner at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. He was a miniature train enthusiast and was an officer in the Harbor North Yacht Club, where he and his family enjoyed weekend boating. Mr.

James had served in the US Army Reserves. A devoted family man, Mr. James is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan (Meister) James; 2 daughters, Deborah S. Parker and her husband, Mark, of Abingdon, MD, and Cynthia T. James of Elkton, MD; mother, Evelyn M.

James of Elkton, MD; and 2 grandchildren, Juliana Parker and Daniel Parker. A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Thursday, January 24, 2002, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 276 S. College Avenue at Park Newark. Interment will be private.

James Age 46 of Wilmington passed away Sunday, January 20, 2002 at the' Franciscan Healthcare Center in Wilmington. "Peggy" Klabe, age 76, of in Hockessin, DE, died on Sunday, January 20, 2002 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Born on April 26, 1925 in Sidney Center, NY, Mrs. Klabe was the daughter of the late Gordon Tan and Goldie (Merrithew) Perkins. For 28 years, Mrs. Klabe was employed with the Avon Corporation, Newark, DE, retiring in 1982 from her position as corresponding secretary.

She was a member of the Delaware Saengerbund and Library Association and she attended Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, both in Newark, DE. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, William E. "Bill" Klabe; 3 children, Sidney W. and Robert W. Guest of Newark, DE and Carol Chiffons of Pagosa Springs, CO; 3 siblings, E.

Perkins of Wappingers Falls, NY, George W. Perkins of Abbottstown, PA, Dorothy "Betty" Young of Marion, NY; 5 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; and 1. great granddaughter. STRANO FEELEY FAMILY FUNERAL HOME Castle Thomas H. Menz Age 69 of Claymont, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2002 at his home. Mr. Menz had worked as a stationary engineer for the Sun Olen Company before retiring. He was a member of the American Legion.

He had served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was stationed on the USS Elokomin. Mr. Menz is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marie E.

Menz; his son, Paul T. Menz and his wife Maryann of Claymont; a brother, Gary D. Menz of Ransomville, NY; a sister, Carol L. Gape of Otter Lake, NY; nieces and nephews, Theresa Menz, Gregory Menz, David Menz, Raymond Pearson, Robert Raymond Gape, and Linda' Dunton. Funeral services for Mr.

Mr. Ross worked for several years with Robino Construction Company in Dover, before moving to New Castle in 1978.

A US Army veteran of World War Il, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Dover. He is survived by his brother, William V. Ross of Wilmington, DE; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm, Wednesday, January 23, SPICER-MULLIKIN FUNERAL HOME, 1000 N. DuPont Wilmington Manor, New Castle, DE, where friends may call after 12 noon.

Interment will follow in Cherry Hill Cemetery, Elkton, MD.
