Bernard's 4lumni Dance Soon Final plans for the forthcomlni Thanksgiving dance were discussed last night at a meeting of St Bernard's Alumni held In the social unit of St. Bernard auditorium. Girh Canine Club Holds Regular Meeting Last Mght in Derrick City The Girls Canine Club held their regular meeting last night at the home of Judy Oliver on the Derrick City Road.

The olub began the work on arts and crafts and also held a canlni contest. Refreshments were served by the hostess. The next regular meeting will be held, it was announced, at the home of Jaiman Pfohl, Boochwood. Hyatt Parent-Teachert association will be held at the Rew school on Friday, Nov. 38, beginning at 8 o'clock according to an announcement made at last night's regular session. Harry Oarvln, secretary-manager of the McKean Motor Olub, was the main speaker lost evening. His topic was "Why We Need Boy Patrol." Motion pictures of the patrol trip to Detroit In 1946 and to Washington In 1947 were also shown.

Mrs. Gertrude Arnett was program chairman. Last night'i program opened with group singing under the direction of Miss Virginia Christopher, music supervisor of the Foster Township Schools. The Rev. Byron Berry, pastor of the Rew E.

U. B. church, gave the invocation, followed by the salute to the flag. Attendance banner was awarded to Miss Gertrude Fleming's room. She teaches the first and second grades.

Mrs. R. C. Miller was named chairman of the Christmas treat program for children, She will be assisted by Mrs, Lemuel Ranktn. Announcement was made that there will be no meeting in December.

The next meeting will be held in January, 1948. The next session of the Executive Committee has been set for Deo. IB in the School House.
