The News Journal, Saturday, Jan. 14, In Memoriam Obituaries Audrey A. Peterman GREENWOOD Audrey A. Peterman, 57, of R.D. 1, died Thursday of cancer in Milford Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Peterman was a home-maker. She attended the Church of the Nazarene in Milford. She is survived by her husband, Robert a daughter, Audrey Quigley of Newark; three brothers, John Morris of Elkton, James Morris of North East, and Herman Morris of Philadelphia; four sisters, May Colak of Warwick, Mary Walker and Anna Miller, both of Parksley, and Ada Lofton of West Grove, Pa. Services will be at 1 p.m.

Wednesday in Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Milford, where friends may call Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Milford. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, Constance L. Ridenour Constance L. Ridenour, 51, of 4 Mattei Lane, Fireside Park, near Newark, died Thursday of an apparent heart attack in Christiana Hospital.

Mrs. Ridenour was a member of First Baptist Church, Hagers-town, Early Bird League at Blue Hen Lanes, Newark, and the Professional Photographers Association of Delaware. She was a volunteer at the Al-etheia School, and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her husband, Thurman C. a son, Thurman C.

Ill, at home; two brothers, William J. and Thomas M. Wright, both of Hagerstown, and two sisters, Sharon A. Eigenbrode of Castle Rock, and Sue E. Gordon of Hagerstown.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Spicer-Mullikin Warwick Funeral Home, 121 W. Park Place, Newark, where friends may call at 10. Burial will be in Head of Christiana Cemetery. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Deborah Hospital, Browns Mills, N.J.

Dolores M. Stroup Dolores M. "Ann" Stroup, 77, formerly of 101 Morrison Wilmington Manor, died Friday from complications of Alzheimer's disease in Newark Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Stroup was a homemaker.

She was a member of Ruth Chapter 19, Order of the Eastern Star; Asbury United Methodist Church and James A. Garfield Council 1, Daughters of America. She was a member and past protector of Palestine Sisterhood 25, Dames of Malta. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Wilmington Manor Fire Company and the Ladies Auxiliary of Joseph B. Stahl Post 30, American Legion.

She is survived by her husband, John a son, Blair at home; and a granddaughter. Eastern Star services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Asbury United Methodist Church, 300 E. Basin Road, New Castle, followed by funeral services at 2. Friends may call at the church alter i.

Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, North Du Pont Highway, Minquadale. Kenneth P. Devenney Kenneth P. Devenney, 72, of 5 Weer Circle, Klair Estates, died Thursday of cancer in Christiana Hospital. Mr.

Devenney, an electrician for 39 years at the Du Pont Co. Edgemoor plant, retired in 1978. He was a lifelong resident of Wilmington. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Katherine A.

Oneschuk Devenney; two daughters, Martha A. Shockley of Elkton, and Ar-lene D. Cicconi of Newark; a brother, Edman of Phoenix, three sisters, Rose M. Rowe and Thelma Bartsch, both of Wilmington, and Muriel Cole of New Castle; five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m.

Elford Roller SALEM, N.J. Elford "Jack" Roller, 77, of Salem-Hancocks Bridge Road, died Thursday in Salem County Memorial Hospital. Mr.

Roller, a painting contractor in Wilmington. for many years, retired in 1975. He was a member of the Hopewell Church of God, Hopewell. He is survived by his wife, Beu-lah; four daughters, Elsie Wyatt of Wilmington, Ethel Pennley of Arden, N.C., Mary Pierce of Greenwich, N.J., and Ruby Keen of Fort Sill, a brother, Denver, and a sister, Evelyn Hooper, both of Asheville, N.C.; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Man killed after running into car SEAFORD A Dover man ran into the path of a car on U.S. 13 north of Sussex 481 Friday morning and died after being carried 185 feet, state police said. Richard L.

Rosetta, 26, of the 1200 block of Wyomings Mill Road, was pronounced dead at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. Police said Rosetta apparently was jumping from the median strip into the northbound lane flagging down vehicles at about 5:30 a.m. when he was struck by a car driven by Feyed Ali Rezaie of Virginia Beach, Va. creek Associated I'ress PHILADELPHIA Police divers Friday found the torso of a 2-month-old infant, who was allegedly killed and dismembered by mother, in a creek near Allen-town, authorities said. Police were led to the site by the mother, 20-year-old Tanya Dacri, who faces murder charges the death. A state police dispatcher Lehighton, Patty Matika, said the divers found a bag containing the remains about 10 a.m. in the i Tanya Dacri Creek, which flows into the Lehigh River. Tanya Dacri, and her husband, Phillip, had reported Tuesday that their son, Zachary, was kidnapped.

Tanya Dacri eventually told police the kidnap report was false. Police claim the woman killed her son Saturday, and later cut the body up in the kitchen and -nVn Phillip Dacri mains into bags before throwing them into the Pohopoco and Neshaminy Creek, north of Philadelphia. Five bags weighted down with dumbbells, with parts of the tiny boy's body, were found Wednesday in the Neshaminy Creek. Tanya Dacri was held without bail hursday after being arraigned on murder and related charges. Phillip Dacri was released from custody after signing for $100,000 bail on charges of aiding in the consummation of a crime and related offenses.

A preliminary hearing was set for Jan. 18 for the couple, who also have a 13-month-old daughter, Christina. Police 2 arrested in Newark Newark police officers caught two teen-agers breaking into cars in a municipal parking lot early Friday and charged the pair with weapons, drug and other offenses, police said. Joseph L. Curry, 18, of the unit block of Northfield Drive, Scott-field, and Donald G.

Moats, 18, of Parsonsburg, had broken the windows of two cars in the lot on Center Street when patrolmen saw them, police said. In attempting to flee, Moats drove through a control-arm at the lot entrance before being pulled over. Police said they recovered stolen property in the car, along with marijuana, alcohol and an undisclosed weapon. Both men were charged with three counts of criminal mischief, conspiracy, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, possession of marijuana, and possession of alcohol by a minor. Moats additionally was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Moats was released on $4,000 unsecured bail following a hearing at Magistrate Court 18 and Curry was released on $3,000 unsecured bail. Woman robbed at store A Wilmington woman was knocked to the ground Thursday outside a Sears store by a man who stole her purse and fled. Police said the woman was standing outside the Sears store at 40th and Market streets at about 7 p.m. when the robbery occurred. She was not injured.

Fifth died Thursday of pneumonia in Wilmington Hospital. Mrs. Gorak worked for 17 years at Union News in' Penn Station, Wilmington. She retired in 1981. Her husband, Joseph, died about 20 years ago.

Harvey W. Romig, 88, of near Suplee, and Honeybrook, died of heart failure Thursday at the home of a daughter with whom he lived. Mr. Romig was born in Coates-ville, and lived in the Chester County area all his life. He was a retired Pennsylvania State Highway Department worker.

He was a life member of the Honeybrook Fire Company and the Brandywine Fire Company of Coatesville. He is survived by three sons, Robert C. of Wilmington, Lester J. of Honeybrook, and Laverne H. of Elverson; two daughters, Dorothy Jane Bieler of Suplee and Frances Axe of Terre Hill; 15 grandchildren; and 18 greatgrandchildren.

Kevin D. Givens, 25, of Fort Eus-tis, formerly of 109 W. Sixth New Castle, died Thursday in his hotel room in Newport News. The Virginia medical examiner's office is investigating the death, police said. Mr.

Givens body was discovered in his hotel room Thursday morning after he failed to report at the fort that morning, said Newport News Police Sgt. Art Nolan. Mr. Givens, an Army warrant officer, was attending a close-support operations course at Fort Eustis, an Army training base in Newport News. He attended William Penn High School, and joined the Army in 1981.

He had been a sergeant and paratrooper in the Army's elite 82nd Airborne Division. He graduated in 1987 from Army helicopter pilot's school. He is survived by his parents, Joseph G. and Mary Ann of New Castle; two brothers, Paul M. and Mark both at home; four sisters, Theresa G.
