Billow funeral home. Bram van Velde, 86, the Dutch-born painter who illustrated works by Irish playwright and close friend Samuel Beckett, died Monday in Grimaud, France. Mark Rodman, 63, a manufacturer of political buttons who scored big with his "happy face" button, died Sunday in Sacramento, Calif. Man leaps to death on 1-77 Ohio Association of Realtors as chairman of the membership services committee, member of the board of trustees and vice chairman of the convention committee. Mr.

Tucker was a past president of the Toastmasters Club, a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Loyalty Lodge 645 and Tadmor Shrine. HE WAS a member of the YMCA, vice president of the American Cancer Society, member of the Akron City Club and vpast president of the South Akron Board of Trade and the Executive Club. He served on the board of Children's Hospital. Mr. Tucker leaves his wife, Bil-lie Jean; sons John of Fairfax County, and Jeffrey of Fort Sill, daughter Kimberly of Akron; brothers, Lawrence of Akron, Earl of Tullahoma, and Wiley of Anderson, and sister Cornye Hilbrandt of Tullahoma.

CORMANY. Clerk Dec IS 77 2 Boston, who stopped his car and ran to the injured man. "I started directing traffic away from the body," Boston said. "No cars hit him." Boston said he and a former paramedic held the man's head straight. The man was breathing but did not move.

The man, who had no wallet or identification, died an hour later at Akron City Hospital. By Tom Ryan Beacon Journal staff writer Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Billow Fair-lawn chapel for Realtor Jesse F. Tucker, who died Saturday after a brief illness. Mr.

Tucker, 62, of 1513 Thorn-apple Akron, was owner and president of Crawford's Realtors, and was president of Jess Tucker Springfield Land Peppertree Properties, Overdale Village Inc. and Tucker-Triad, a partnership. "He was a very innovative Realtor who believed strongly in real estate ownership," said a friend, Pete Pappas of Pappas Realty. "He was a strong leader, always in command when there was an audience. "I believe the word unique describes him best.

He exuded confidence and in a sense was a living monument to the real estate profession." Howard W. Myers, president of the Akron Area Board of Realtors, said Mr. Tucker was a dedicated, hard worker in board activities. "HE PARTICIPATED in everything and we are going to miss his involvement," Myers said. "I was flabbergasted to learn of his death.

I had lunch with him recently and he was in fine health and spirit at the time." Mr. Tucker was a 35-year member of the Board of Realtors, serving as president in 1961. Mr. Tucker was a real estate course instructor at the University of Akron and was active in the A young man dived to his death this morning from the railing of the Catawba Avenue bridge onto the traffic-clogged northbound lane of Interstate 77. Witnesses said the man stood outside the railing on the overpass south of Wilbeth Road before plunging headlong onto the concrete.

Romain, a retired sales representative for Goodyear, will be Wednesday in Birmingham, were he had lived since retiring in 1975. Mr. Romain, 59, died Sunday after a long illness. He was born in Barberton and served in the U. S.
