Ke was, at once assigned to the Finance Department of Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, where he remained five years, and then transferred to Fort Douglas, Salt Lake City, Utah. There, on May 30, 1931, he was married to Miss Irene Hunter of that city. They later were located at Fort MacArthur, San Pedro, where their daughter was born.

He was then sent to Chilkoot Barracks, Alaska, where he remained for some time. With the outbreak of war, he went to Nome, and then to the post where he tragically encountered death, at St. Paul, Pri- bilof Islands, after 17 years in the service of his country during war and peace. i Kis wife and daughter, who now live at San Francisco, are coming east for the reburial ser-' vices here. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother Charles Donald Feight, the Com mander of the American Legion i Clairton, Pa.

Although the new club rooms may possibly be opened over the coming weekend, this the first large-scale event planned at the Legion Club, and it will be the first time many of the members have had an opportunity to inspect the new quarters. An enjoyable evening is contemplated. The new club is fully equipped, with a room 75x30 feet, for dancing and other entertainment. The House Committee has been busy during the past two weeks in making the new.quarters ready for the opening. Philip Blackburn of town was guest speaker at a meeting of the Schellsburg Lions club held Monday evening "at the Ship. Rev. Blackburn discussed "Education or Chaos." It was announced that Verjion Nunamaker, senior in the agricultural course at Schellsburg high school, was one of 10 'boys chosen from 320 at Penn State to judge cattle. Young Nunamaker, in further competition, was among a group of three to be sent to Springfield, where they with other boys from 12 states along the in a cattle judging contest and placed second. His expenses were, defrayed by the club.
