Norman is survived by wife, Mabel; son, Lawrence Ware of Cincinnati; daughters. Ruby Parsons of Columbus, Pearl Mulhaney of Cleveland; sister, Azzie Parsons of Akron; and nine grandchildren. Manthe, 42, passed away Feb. 1. Born in Akron, she had worked at the Golden Door Restaurant. She is survived by her husband, Ronald son, Kent E. of Tallmadge; daughter, Carol A.

She had been a resident of West-field Center 48 years, where she and her husband, former President and Chairman of the Board of the West-field Insurance Companies, had been involved in all phases of community life.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles Stocking (Nancy) of Rochester, Mrs. David Cohn (Elizabeth) of Tucson, two grandsons, David, Jr. and Robert Cohn of Tucson; and two sisters. Dr.

Charlotte Ames of Xenia, and Miss Marjorie Ames of Wooster. Interment of ashes in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 6, 1 p.m., at the Unitarian Church, West-field Center, Rev. Robert West officiating.

Mr. Barnes was born in Grantsville, W. Va. March 5, 1912, and resided in Chordon, moving from Akron two years ago. He worked for the Maintenance Department of the Lawson Milk Company for 20 years, and also the Maintenance and Sanitation Department of the City of Cuyahoga Falls for 15 years, retiring in 1975.

He was an army veteran of World War II, and a member of the Eagles Lodge, the Royal Order of Moose, and the Army-Navy Club, all of Cuyahoga Falls. He is survived by wife, Mrs. Loretta Barnes of Chardon; four daughters, Mrs. Geraldine VanMeter of Stow, Mrs. Mono Jean Knight of Hudson, Mrs.

Roberta James of Tallmadge, Mrs. Nancy Lakator of Fort Worth, son, Howard Barnes of Lake-more; stepdaughter, Bonnie Baird; three stepsons, Bruce Baird, Donald Baird, and Ronnie Kahler, all of Chardon; 26 grandchildren; 25 greatgrandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Betty Criss of Cuyahoga Falls, Mrs. Carol Buckan-an of Akron; and brother, Garland Barnes of Akron. Booth 74, of 3133 Mayfield passed away Feb. 2 at St. Thomas Hospital following a short illness. Mr. Booth was born in Columbus, and had been an Akron and Stow area resident for the past 65 years.

He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Service Corps of Retired Executives, Coventry Lodge No. 665, the Akron Chapter No. 209 Royal Arch Masons, Akron Commandery No. 25 Knight Templers, 33rd Degree Mason Valley of Akron Scottish Rite, Tadmor Temple of the Shrine, Royal Order of Scotland, Knight Masons of Dublin, Ireland, Shannon Council, and was treasurer of the Akron Masonic pie, member of the Men's Garden Club of America, the Stow Men's Garden Club, and Wampum Investment Club.

He was a navy veteran of World War II, and was Lt. Commander of the U.S. Naval Reserve, Retired, and member of the Retired Officers Association. He retired in 1973 from the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, Salary Administration, with 35 years service. He was a member of Firestone Retirees Luncheon Group.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth daughter. Miss Nancy L. Booth of Stow; son, Philip L. of Youngstown; and two granddaughters. Funeral services 1 1 a.m., Friday at St.
