It's been nearly 13 years since McGlocklin graduated from Franklin high school, leaving behind a trail of basketball memories. Ironically, the Franklin teams which McGlocklin played on never made it out of the sectional tournament. It's something that still bugs McGlocklin, even though he was a member of a world champion professional basketball team in 1971. "I never got to cut a net in high school," McGlocklin lamented, realizing that his nephews are a mere two victories away from snipping at a state championship net.
