Cole, who was killed in a double-fatality traffic' accident Thursday morning on North Madison avenue in Greenwood, was a senior at Greenwood high in school January, and would 1973. have graduated He was active in tennis, the Keystone avenue church, and was an Indianapolis Star newspaper carrier.

He was born Feb. 18, 1955, in Johnson county to Robert H. Cole and the former Larry Echols. He had lived in the county all his life. Survivors include the parents, a brother, David Robert Cole, 19, two sisters, Linda Marie Cole, 13, and Emily Ann Cole, 5, and grandparents H.

Carnine rites are Saturday Funeral services for Carl Webster Carnine, 67, Princes Lakes, have been set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Chapel J.C. Wilson Funeral Home. Rev. James Jones of Brownstown will officiate.

Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home any time until services. Carnine, who died in Johnson County Memorial Hospital early Thursday morning, was born July 20, 1904, in Bargersville and had lived in the Princes Lakes area for 11 years. He retired ten years ago from Mallory's and, since retirement, had worked in a pet shop on the south side of Indianapolis. He was a member of the Greenwood Masonic lodge.

Survivors include the wife, the former Henrietta Surber, Princes Lakes, two daughters, Mrs. Jean Brown and Mrs. Joan Hardman, both of Indianapolis, two brothers, Arthur of Indianapolis and David of Wisconsin, 12 grandchildren and (10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for former Johnson county resident Nolin Alvin Childress, 63, are tentatively set for 10 a.m. Monday at Greenwood Chapel Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery. A brother, Rev. Edgar Childress of Indianapolis, will officiate at the services.

Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday. Childress died of a heart attack early Thursday morning in St. Cloud, Florida. He had been residing at 20 Michigan avenue there. Born March 3, 1909, in Buffalo, Kentucky, to Ira Childress and the former Nellie Gibson, he had lived in Florida for two and a half years and was formerly a Greenwood contractor.

He served in the U.S. Navy during W.W. II and was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist church in Mt. Sherman, Kentucky.

Survivors include the widow, the former Sarah Woodring; a son, William Warren Childress of Chattanooga, Tennessee; daughter Eserline, four brothers and four sisters. The sisters include Mrs. Mamie Brown of Buffalo, Mrs. Mary Ellen Peterson of Mooresville, Mrs. Mattie Henderson of Magnolia, and Mrs.

Efflin Elkins of Princeton, Ill. Brothers are Justas and Beckham of Mt. Sherman, Biven of Orlando, and Rev. Edgar Childress of Indianapolis. Calling hours are scheduled after 6 p.m.
