The rates will be as heretofore 35 cents for aduts and 20 cents for special low rates from Monticello, Idaville and Burnettsville. It is' also' hoped that a special low rate may be secured on the Wabash Railway from New Waverly and Lime Switch. The Military Bund Concert. The regard in which tho military band is held by the people of Logansport was attested last by the large audience which greeted the boys at the opera house.

The program showed evidence of careftil study and was carried out in a very pleasing- manner, the audience frequently attesting its appreciation of the- better numbers by loud applause and numerous encores. For a summer evening the house was well filled and the band will net a njat sum to apply to the purchase of the new regulation uniforms. The part first was an interesting series of "music by the band," the boys appearing in burnt cork and fantastic plantation outfit. The selections were heartily applauded. The part second was opened by Julius Mattes with a piano solo in which the young 1 artist displayed an admirable proEciency.

Mr. Mattes presided at the piano during the evening in an excellent manner, and in a later number was supported by Dr. Frank Wynn in a piano duet of very pleasing quality. The baton drill of Buel, Schwering and Berkenruth, was a skillfully executed number received an encore. The Worstell boys, Elmer and Charles, with their tinkling mandolins came in for their invariable encore and responded pleasingly.

The "stump" speech by James Gangloff in costume, was an amusing number and brought down the house. The specialty act of Brewer, Cohee and Criss on their novel wood xylaphone was a remarkably pleasing number and likewise fell in for an encore. The cornet solo by Prof. H. L.

Bisbee gave that artist an excellent chance to display his powers on his favorite instrument and this number was loudly encored. The horn quartette by Melton, Smith, Brewer and Klinck was a pleasing number and wits followed by a. trombone solo by Clarence Bisbee which met with a hearty encore. Prof. Bisbee and Henry Melton then executed a pretty cornet duet and were followed by a baritone solo by Will Brewer which was one of the artistic numbers of the program and met with an encore.

Mr. Brewer is a fine baritone soloist. The amusing specialty act of Bisbee, Gangloff and Scbwering was an absurdity which kept the crowd laughing for awhile. This trio go about it like old professionals, the Irish comedy by Schwering and tte songs by Bisbee being decided hits. It is suspicioned that Bisbee has stood before the.

footlights in minstrel roles before. The program came to an end with a laughter creating farce entitled "Aunt Susie's Ball," which sent the crowd away in good humor. All in all the entertainment was a pleasing success in which the boys may find good reason for personal felicitation. They made themselves even more "solid" than ever with the people of Logansport last night. Long may they wave.

TVeidner-Albert Yesterday morning at 8 o'clock at the St. Joseph church pleasant marriage ceremony was witnessed by a select few of the friends of the contracting parties, the ceremony being the one binding in the holy bonds of wedlock Miss Bar jara Weidner and Mr. Frank Albert.
