Grey-haired Mrs. Lottie (Tot) Lockman, who is charged with attempted murder in the poisoning of her employer's wife, reasserted her Innocence today as authorities awaited results of an autopsy on the body of her employer's mother.

Mrs. Lockman, 62, is at liberty under $2,500 bond, while Mrs. Mamie McConnell, 63, wife of Forrest McConnell, DuPont, hardware merchant, was reported recovering from what Dr. E. C.

Cook, her physician, said was mercury poisoning. The body of McConnell's mother, Mrs. Minnie McConnell, who was under Mrs. Lockman's care at the time of her death in August, 1945, was exhumed yesterday and the crgans sent to Dr. R.

N. Harger, state toxicologist, at Indianapolis. May Exhume Others Coroner Sidney E. Haigh said the bodies of four other persons, all of whom Mrs. Lockman served as housekeeper or helper at the time of their deaths, may be exhumed to determine exact cause of death.

Mrs. Lockman operated the McConnell hardware store and also was housekeeper for both McConnell women. McConnell, field sales manager for the Rightway Products of Chicago, traveled extensively and employed Mrs. Lockman to look after his interests in his absence. Husband Dead State Police Detective Graham Tevis said other deaths to be investigated are those of Frank Lock-man, husband of Mrs.

Lockman; Wallace Lockman, a brother-in-law; Fred Giddings, a retired farmer, and Mrs. Hattie Calhoun. Coroner Haigh said none of the other bodies would be exhumed until after reports are received from Dr. Harger on the cause of Mrs. McConnell's death.
