Bala was born in the Ukraine, and was an Akron area resident for 78 years. Johnson, 67, of Silver Lake, died April 15 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Pennsylvania, and lived in the Akron area over 40 years. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls, Henry Perkins lodge 611 Charles Faust Post 281 American Legion, Ralph Huff Post 1062 V.F.W., a life member of the 37th Division Association M. Company 145th Infantry, 503rd Parachute Infantry, and was News Editor of the Akron Chapter 37th Division. He retired from George J.

Meyer Manufacturing Co. Mr. Johnson is survived by wife, Louise; brother. Earl of Pennsylvania; sisters, Charlotte Konopa of Silver Lake, and Viola Taylor of California; one niece; and two nephews. Services will be Thursday, 1 p.m., at the Billow Falls Chapel, 23rd St.

Sunnyfield Copley, passed away Sunday, April 13. He was born in Dresden, and lived in the Akron area since 1922, moving to this area from Mayfield, Ky. He was a member of Christ Methodist Church and Victory lodge 649 He was retired from BF Goodrich. Mr. Kimbel is survived by wife of 58 years, Margaret; and son, Charles E.

Jr. of Nashville, daughter, Mar-ginia F. Shockley of Platteville, Wise-one brother; four sisters; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, 1 p.m., at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. Miller with Rev.

A native of Kenmore, and a life resident of the area, he was a retired employee of Consolidated Freiahtlines. and a veteran of World War II. He is survived by wife, Flora sons, Carl David and Gary E. of Akron; three grandchildren; brothers, Lester and Albert of Akron; sisters, Mrs. Hazel Doyle and Mrs. Bertha Foutz, Mrs. Marian Dronebarger, all of Akron, and Mrs.

Pi Weekdays 8 Associated Press COLUMBUS Republican gubernatorial candidates Paul Gill-mor and Paul Pfeifer supplemented their salaries as members of the Ohio Senate with income from a variety of sources, financial disclosure statements showed Tuesday. The information was contained in documents filed by the senators with the Senate Legislative Ethics Committee and made public late Tuesday, the filing deadline, by the clerk of the Senate. They were required to identify income sources of $500 or more during calendar year 1985, but not the dollar amount involved. Gillmor of Port Clinton drew dividends from American Building Maintenance, Gordon Jewelry, Wendy's, RLC Rollins Environmental Service, Paper-craft, Overnite Transportation and Price New Horizons Fund. In addition, he reported speaking honorariums from the Ohio Mining and Reclamation Association, Tobacco Institute, Pharmaceutical Association and the Cable Television Association.

Pfeifer of Bucyrus listed income beyond his Senate salary from the Cory, Brown Pfeifer law firm in which he is a partner; as owner-operator of the White Oaks Farm, a general farming and livestock operation; and as a partner in Crawford Farms, which owns a 380-acre farm in Franklin County. Pfeifer's list of investments held during 1985 included common stock in B'Investco his law firm; Crawford Farms; and a Rapi-Kleen car wash in which he is a partner. Gillmor reported investments, mostly in the form of common stock, in 26 organizations. OBSTUARiES Ex-Canton mortician Harold Jack Services for retired Canton funeral home director Harold R. Jack will be at 11 a.m.

Thursday at the Earl B. Jack and Son funeral home in Canton. Mr. Jack died Saturday at his home in Zapata, Texas, where he had lived since his retirement in 1979. He was 74.

Mr. Jack was the former owner and operator of the Canton funeral home that bears his father's name. He was a member of the Calvary Methodist Church in Canton, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 223, McKinley Eagles Aerie 141, Fair-hope Lions Club, Hall of Fame Luncheon Club and a life member of the McKinley Bulldog Club. Mr. DeLong was employed for 26 years at the former Sun Rubber Co. in Barberton, and retired from Diamond Crystal Salt Co. after six years service. He was member of the Springfield Baptist Church, the American Legion Post 209 for the past 41 years, and was a veteran of the U.S.
