The ceremony was read in the presence of members of both families and a few close friends, by the Rev. D. C. Robbins in the Trinity Methodist church of Point Marion. There were no attendants.

Miss Robbins was attractively attired in a street length dress of blue lace, with a hat of white and white accessories. Her shoulder corsage was of rosebuds and baby breath. The bride was student at the Point Marion high school, and Mr. Altomare was educated in Fayette county schools, and for a time served as corporal in the United States Army in Hawaii for three years. Mr.

Altomare is employed with the L. J. Houze Convex Glass company, and within a few days the young couple will be at home to their many friends in a newly furnished apartment in Hill street, Point Marion. Connellsville, won first prize of $100 in the fifth annual Mountain Choir Festival at Mountain Lake Park near Oakland. Sunday.

Competing against a field of 13 other choruses in a program carried throughout the afternoon and evening, the local choir of 24 voices was given a "tremendous reception and marvellous ovation" by the large crowd in attendance, according to those who heard the musical renditions. The Mountain Choir Festival is under' the direction of Rev. Felix G. Robinson and the program was conducted by Dr. Harvey Gaul of Pittsburgh while Dr.

Beckett Gibbs of Juilliard School of Music in New York was one of the lecturers and the contest adjudicator. Entries in the Maryland program were from Pennsylvania, and West Virginia as well as Maryland. It was "the first time a local musical organization had participated there. The choirs, in presenting their numbers, were unaccompanied. In addition to the required and selected numbers, -they sang Lord," a composition of Miss Keil's father, the late Peter Kiel, Jr.
