He was employed by the Goodyear Tire Rubber Co. as a development engineer. He retired from that companys' Department of Organic Research in 1985 with 35 years service. Forbes of 1511 Willard Drive, Orrville, died Friday afternoon June 12, at Timken Mercy Medical Center in Canton following a sudden illness. She was bom in Marshallville to Fred L. and Velma Ault Geiser and narried Jess Meherg in 1948 in North Hill, he died in 1966. She married Gordon Forbes on March 15, 1969 in Tallmadge, he survives. She attended schools in Canal Fulton and graduated from Wooster Business College.

She was employed as an accountant for Schwarzlander Auditing ind Superior Plumbing Heating lur 30 years retiring in 1975. She rrude her home in Tallmadge until 1969, then she moved to Orrville where she became a member of the Christ United Church of Christ, North Main Street. She was a former YMCA Board Member, Deaconess at the church and member of several card clubs. Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Jim (Nanette Bohlen of Nashport; one son, Larry G.

Meherg of Lakeville; one stepdaughter, Susan A. Forbes of Tampa, one stepson, Blake G. Forbes of Albuquerque, NM; mother, Velma Geiser of Orrville; three sisters, Bessie Musser of Orrville, Ethel Immel of Orrville, Mrs. Kenneth (Dolores) Gatehouse of Marshallville; one brother, Russell F. Geiser of Marshallville; six grandchildren; 12 nieces and nephews.

WADSWORTH Louis Poder, 43, died unexpectedly June 13, 1992 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz, Ohio. Mr. Poder was bom in Wadsworth where he was a lifelong resident and a member of Mt. Zwingli United Church of Christ and Wadsworth F.O.E. 2117.

He was a welder at with 23 years service, and an avid outdoorsman. Mr. Poder was the son of the late Louis Poder, and is survived by sons, Troy A. and Brian both of Wadsworth, Martin J. of Norton, daughter, Lisa C.

of Wadsworth; grandchildren, Toree L. and Bradley mother, Mary E. of Wadsworth; sisters, Karen L. McLaughlin, Barberton; Linda I. Martin, Seville; Mary Ann Carver, Wadsworth; brother, James Pace, and dear friend Carolyn Pate of Chippewa Twp.

Petersburg, Fla. Born June 19, 1953 in Ravenna, Ohio, to Charles Polifrone and Shirley (Godfrey) Polifrone, now living in Pas-cagoula, formerly of Garretts-ville, he was a former 29-year resident of Garrettsville. He attended Kent State University and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Garrettsville until 1982. Since 1977 he worked for Ametek, which moved from Solon, Ohio, to St. Petersburg in 1982, and was director of manufacturing.

He was coach and board member of Azalea Youth Soccer League in St. Petersburg. Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Holly (Misch) Polifrone; sons, Joseph A. Polifrone and Craig A. Polifrone, all of St.

Petersburg, brothers, Dr. Brad Polifrone of Akron and Michael Polifrone of Garrettsville; and maternal grandmother, Mrs. F. A. Godfrey of Pascagoula, Miss.
