To Ride In Allegheny County Horse Show Miss Evelyn Thompson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew A. Thompson will arrive home this week-end from the Greenwood School for Girls In Ruxton, and she will be accompanied by Nancy Patterson, of Pittsburgh, who ffill be guest for the week-end, On Thursday, Friday and Saturday of next week Nancy and Evelyn will ride team of horses in the Allegheny County Horse Show in Sewlckley. Miss Danr.els' mother planned the party and it was held in her home, Church street. A lovely bow of pink peonies and roses, flanked on each side with green tapers, formed the centerpiece. Wedding Of Last Is Revealed To Friends A winter wedding is just now being revealed in the month of brides. The principals are Mildred Showman of KeistervJUe, formerly of Detroit, and Joseph Potter of this city. The wedding was an event of February 17 in Detroit, where the bride was employed as a graduate nurse. She was graduated from one of the large Detroit hospital schools of nursing. Mr.

Potter is associated with the Tri-State Wholesale Drug company. The bride is now at heriJiome in Keisterville but the future plans of the uewlyweds have not been disclosed. L. T. L.

T. was one of the highlights of the program presented yesterday when the children of the Loyal Temperance Legion were guests of the Women's Christian Temperance Union at a program and party in the Asbury Methodist Episcopal church dining room The presentation of the playlet was a surprise feature and was composed dramatized and staged by Peggie anc Ann Bowie Clark, nine and seven year old daughters of Rev. and Mrs. J. Clark of tha Second Presbyterian church.

program was given under the capable direction of Mrs. George Wright, sponsor. The children entered the room to music of a march played by Miss Faith Fearer. After some group singing and responses a splendid program was given by the following talent: Eleanor Liston, Marilyn Miller and Maxine Gallatin, readers; Betty Sumey, accompanied by her sister, Doris; Martha Fox and Eleanor Liston, vocalists; Joan Sembower and Faith Fearer, pianists. Following two hours of directed play in the gymnasium dainty refreshments were served.

Membership in this splendid group is rapidly growing. The youngsters have a mite box but no dues are required, those who can contribute according to their ability, and all children of the city eligible. Yesterday morning was devoted to sewing by W. O. T.

TJ. members for the Child Welfare department and a covered dish luncheon was served at noon. Next regular meeting will be held Friday, June 8, in the Asbury parsonage with Mrs. C. J.

Whitlatch as hostess. Theme of the meeting will be "Message of the Flowers' the program to be sponsored by the Flower Mission department in charge of Mrs. Ada Hemphill. Mrs. Katie Gray will have charge of.

Junior Auxiliary To Have Picnic Monday Monday, June 4, has been selected as the date for the picnic of the Junior Unit Auxiliary of the American Legion to be held at Rendine's in the Connellsville road.
